Because it's not real money.
Maybe I can pay you with Itchy and Scratchy-dollars? No? Thought so.

4chan is getting bloated, at least delete a couple of boards.
>>387462
Why? How does an increase in the number of boards impact you?
>>387488
Users become separated and boards become slower, slow isn't necessarily bad but there's a point when it becomes a problem.
>>387496
That's a nice hypothesis. What boards do you see slowing down? The split between /aco/ and /d/ is already documented to death.
Can you please start fucking banning consolewars threads on /v/?
Like 1/3 of the entire board is just consolewars shitposting
>>387293
>stop talking about video games on the video game board!
Fuck off
>>387313
Please read the rules before posting, thanks.
>>387314
I know the rules, jackass.
Are we not allowed to talk about video game conventions on /v/ or something?
Twice in the last 2 days I make a PAX thread and each time it's deleted within 15 minutes.
I got banned for making a thread about GaymerX: an actual video game convention meant for the LGBTQ. No mocking, no point and laugh at the fags, just listing out the devs and games that will be at the convention.
Apparently video games don't belong on /v/.
Good job mods, banning the things actually causing shitty drama on /v/. Now they just need to ban the other shit
Oi, you moronic mod. If you are going to force your garbage /co/mblr shit on /a/, at least baby sit the fucking thing.
>>>/a/134973677
This sure as fucking hell doesn't look like Manga discussion to me. It's /a/nons telling /co/ to fuck off and /co/mblr talking about its garbage cartoon. If you want to force your shitty waifu bait western shit that manages to be worse then a seasonal harem, at least babysit the fucking thing and ban all /co/mblr discussion you piece of shit

I'll never understand /a/ and their autism.

Stop pushing 100% /a/ topics from the board.
Fuck off /a/utists.
>people unironically believe /a/ is good

How do you use the filter?

why isn't there a /con/sumer board to discuss general purchases and things like sandwich spreads or soap? we need better consumer awareness
Why isn't a mod moving these /q/ threads to the trash? How can you make suggestions as bad as yours and still look at yourself in the mirror? Where do you get the nerve to speak with the rest of us functioning people?
You've posted this thread before with the same exact image and the general consensus was that it wasn't needed. Any purchase you make can be discussed on its relevant board.
>>386807
there is no relevant board for sandwich spreads or soap. /ck/ is for cooking and there's no board to discuss soap
>hes never used the original vanilla 4chan and made a post gone to use another window came back 20 minutes later seeing his own posting forgetting he made it and thinks the person is a retard and makes a giant post in return calling him an idiot and realizes later that was him
Why are the newer modern 4chan users so dull and boring?

These kids take shitposting for granted.

>A few words about why I use 4chanX now.
They had lost continuity of previous generations, and long time lived in the cancerous besiegement.
What are the reasons why people still use 4chan? People say it's one of the better communities, but that's not necessarily true, I think it might be because of 3 simple reasons
>anonymity
You can post any opinion you want and change it instantly without fear, you don't have to carry the weight of your old posts (unless you are tripfag in which case you're retarded)
>speed ans convenience
As soon as you write something you are guarranteed to get a response in a relatively short time as long as the it is interesting enough, on other sites you have to wait and keep refreshing the page
>interface
The interface despite being ancient is very user friendly and quick to get used to, there's little bointless bullshit
I use 4chan for gay anime and posting about how I love the Confederacy and the IRA
>>386527
The anonymity point you make doesn't really apply all that much to me, since most of the posts I make don't really make that much of a splash. I imagine that this is true for most people who try to use the site legitimatley, IE people who aren't just here to shitpost 24/7.
The speed awnser kind of applies, but that's not at all unique to 4chan. That's more or less true for any site with a large user base, whereas if you use a site with a smaller community then you're not going to get replies quickly. 4chan is no exception to that, you might get a reply in a minute or two on a fast board, but on slow boards, the ones with less users, you might have to wait days to have someone reply to a legitimate post.
I will agree that the interface is nice though, minimalist and easy to use. Definitely the best thing moot ever did for this site was not to fuck it up as time went by.
The main reason I use 4chan though is because of the community. Not because the community is good or anything, it's obviously shit, but because I can easily get my point across here and most of the time people will try to figure out what I'm trying to say no matter how unusual the ideas I'm trying to posit might be.
Besides that, I like how each poster is more or less equal. Everyone gets an equal platform for their ideas and as such people only judge posts based on their individual merit, recurring digits notwithstanding. I would say that shitposting is the exception to this rule, but desu senpai, if the shitpost is the only post that's getting attention in the thread then the chances are that there aren't any other posts worth paying attention to anyway.
>>386967
Finally, I wanted to add that 4chan has a sort of culture that enforces a special blend of personal responsibility and inclusivity. Basically, if you take the time to learn the basics of each board, then you can have in depth conversations about the topics covered on each board without having to worry about whether or not people are going to understand what you're talking about.
If you can understand the basic concepts, then people will respect your right to speak. If you have special knowledge about a given subject, then people will treat you with respect when you speak. If you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about, people will chew you the fuck out, or just straight up ignore you.
That's probably my favorite thing about 4chan. You don't have to be intelligent to post here, by any means, but willful ignorance is not tolerated. As it should be in any intellectual space.
inb4
>implying 4chan is an intellectual space
Every forum of discussion is an intellectual space of some kind. It might not exactly be high brow, but it's still a place where discussions occur regardless.
It's been almost 3 months since Hiro took over the site, what do you like and dislike about his changes to certain boards?
Added these boards:
>/aco/
>/his/
>/trash/
>/news/
Rule changes:
>/a/
>/r9k/
>/asp/
Affected boards:

>/lit/
>/pol/

I love the new version of Flash he told me to install, my CPU feels at least 20% faster!
>>386378
I'm about to personally buy him some fucking internet so he has no more excuses to keep sitting on his ass and not replying to fucking anything. Enough of this "broke internet fiber, phone slow connection, hard reply" bullshit.
>>386378
/aco/ was not hiros doing, it is a mods project. Hiro himself said during the /his/ launch that this was his first board he mad.
>Liberals/SJWs want to delete and ban /pol/ because /pol/ is mean to people
>To do this, they are mean and make fun of /pol/acks
Does anyone notice how hypocritical this is? I have never seen a /pol/ack be mean before. For people who are supposedly racist and bigited, they are nice board.
>>386211
Pre-gamergate
>Everyone who disagrees with me is a jew!
Post-gamergate
>Everyone who disagrees with me is a SJW!
See the difference? I don't.
I don't want /pol/ to be deleted but I pretend to be someone who does because it makes people like you butthurt
Oh look, another SJW/anti-SJW thread. Great.
Get the fuck out and leave /pol/ out of your bullshit.
Will you be my friend?
Yea
Hello 4chan moderation team.
Let's talk about /tv/.
>>385978
holy shit, /tv/ staff didn't feel the need to have 1 or more GENERAL threads for the new movie?
>>386030
Nope. That wouldn't be "fun".

Poe should honestly have taken Finn's place though.
