Hello there! Fellow Reddit user here. This is the 4chan feedback forum (I know this because I've been here for a month so that means I'm an oldf*g, dasu dasu mudpicks), and I believe I know how I can fix this website to make it as user-friendly as Reddit! We Redditors tend to be an intellectual bunch, so you can trust our opinion (my IQ is 168, by the way).
I propose that we enforce Global Rule 3 a lot and delete boards which frequently violate said rule. Boards like /b/, /pol/, /s4s/ and /r9k/ are very unsafe, I've been bullied a lot by the users of these boards, and it has caused a great deal of trouble in the past. Therefore, I implore the admin of this website, Christopher "moot" Poole, to consider this an important issue. The Internet needs to take a step closer to being a safe space for everybody, much like Tumblr.
Secondly, I think 4chan will benefit greatly with the removal of flags, IDs and tripcodes. We here at Reddit support the right to privacy and I am appalled that this website forces these things onto their users!
Third, I believe that 4chan needs to invest greatly in additional word filters. It is very, very difficult to engage in intelligent, high quality discussion with my fellow Channers when they keep using abbreviations such as "shaking my head" and "to be honest". It really lowers the quality of this website, so I believe that by adding filters for "laughing out loud", "laughing my *ss off" and any nonsensical words not found in the dictionary, the quality of 4chan will improve dramatically.
Finally, you should consider adding some boards for topics which are hugely popular here on Reddit. For instance, a board called /aww/ for pictures of cute animals. And how about a board called /IAmA/, so that we can get famous celebrities to browse the chan? Don't you see how amazing this idea is?

1. Why have these rules if they're rarely enforced?
2. Why have these rules that make basically any and every post a bannable offense?
I'm starting to think there's a disconnect between what mods think 4chan is supposed to be and what many users think it's supposed to be. I just wish there was more communication on what is and isn't allowed.

Anyone have 4chan.org redirect to one of those bullshit flash update sites every so often? Happened a few times this week (out of the near 100 times i type 4chan.org in url bar and hit enter)
Next time it happens i'll screenshot and post URL. Normally i'd 100% think this is on my end, but it happened on two seperate machines. One running windows 7 and the other OS X. Only happened once or twice on the windows machine.
This only seems to happen with 4chan's address. I'm pretty anal about what processes are running, don't download bullshit plugins, monitor launch daemons/agents ect.
