Sorry, we can't do that. To put this in technical terms, we're trying to solve a social problem with a technical solution. Spammers using special characters that look just like normal letters to get around filters, and other crap.
Basically, the long and short of it is that it'll cause way more problems than anything it fixes, and it doesn't actually fix anything. It just opens the floodgates for bullshit from users taking advantage of new avenues for upsetting the delicate safespace echo-system.

So why should I apply again? Truth is: never. What will happen is the usual. People like my friend will get the position, then there will be a bunch of good content removed that broke zero rules of the board simply because it was content they didn't like. Then 6 months later, there will be another round of janitor applications. Lather, rinse, and repeat. This has been going on since the advent of 4chan.

What's the issue? You've deleted and banned Choose Your Own Adventure (CYOA) threads, a few generals, and greentext story prompts, which totals to four entire pages out of the ten that /mlp/ has. If I may recover over the rules, brought out from the source and unaltered;
1) This is the destination for all cartoon/anime pony related content on 4chan. All content is pony related and happening in the pony dimension.
2) This is a work safe board. No pornographic images or NSFW content is allowed. Any CYOA thread or work that is not safe for work is either not posted or linked to alternative sources.
3) Topics must be show-related. The threads you've removed generally happen in the pony dimension, and usually-- if not always-- use locations from the show itself.
4) No roleplay. There is no roleplaying going on in the threads, we write ABOUT ponies or refer to the viewer as the main character. This is a casually used loophole that nobody had to remove in any way beforehand.
5) Ponies only—no anthro. This is never used, sans Equestria Girls, but that's a different case entirely.
So what's the big idea? There's no real reason for you to perform the tasks you've done, and now the board's panicking, causing the thing you wanted to avoid; off topic, rule breaking banter. Is there at least an explanation for all of this?
I thought they were just deleting generals. This is the standard for most other boards. Why not /mlp/ too?
