Let's try to come up with what this board should be. I'll start by presenting my ideas and then you should present your own. Once we come to a semi-reasonable consensus, I'll synthesize a post and suggest it on the IRC for a sticky.
In my opinion, /qa/ shouldn't be /q/, but /q/ discussion should be permissible on /qa/ as we don't want to eliminate the current culture. What /qa/ should be is exactly what the name of the board implies. It should be Question & Answers. If one MUST bitch and moan about their ban, they must phrase their complaint...

It's actually Google that is causing that scheme. When you get that style of captcha it is programmed to not work regardless of whatever you put in, for some reason.
Of course, the mods are to blame too because they haven't come up with a replacement. So yes, they probably are trying to avoid work and this is still worth drawing attention to. Frankly I see no reason why reporting should even require a captcha.

We need to seriously fix the report system on here. First off it won't work if you have to type the words out, which appears often. Secondly, the options are limited at best. We need a feature that lets us type in what exactly is wrong with the post or thread.
For example I see a thread about shitposting, so I'll click rule violation and type in "User is shitposting and derailing thread". Fixing this system would go such a long way in people actually using the report feature. Its a broken mess

Is there any moderation on /vg/ at all? Like, at ALL? I know it's a containment board so it's going to have a certain degree of shittiness by default but /fgog/ has had a single autist shitposting for three literal months day and night and no amount of reporting has even gotten him a slap on the wrist.
