I've been on this website for about 4 years, and throughout those years I have encounter tnis weird glitch exactly 3 times throughout those 4 years.
Basically when I save a picture, a different picture is saved instead. The pictured saved is the same picture every time, these incidents are months apart. This picture isn't even in the thread.
It has happened for the third time a minute ago after not happening for god knows how long.

It appears that every time janitors are hired, not a single improvement to /v/ is made.
The clusterfuck of shitpost threads/ /tv/ threads that are made on /v/ is ridiculous and clearly shows how unmoderated the board actually is.
Also, why is there no sticky that at least enforces some board rules to a degree?
Sometimes, when I report a bad thread, it'll get deleted within a couple minutes. Other times, it'll reach over 500 posts. I think it has more to do with the internal-makeup of the mods/jannies who look after /v/. I don't expect them all to be great, but it really seems that they fall into only 1 of 2 camps: really good, or really bad.
I really appreciate the few good ones.

"mods are asleep, post X" is a long-lasting meme for a reason. Sometimes there will many of them on at once, other times it's bare. Discretion is involved, but many times I think it's just a lack of manpower.
/v/ goes through thousands and thousands of posts an hour, and unfortunately there's a huge percentage of shitposts from anons that can just reset their router or otherwise ignore bans (like the entire continent of Australia)
Remember when 4chan threads updated instantly and you didn't have to wait X amount of seconds?

It has more fans than MLP and pretty much anything else. It would be fantastic. I'm thinking of all the SW movie threads, SW merch threads, threads discussing lightsabers, threads about RP in the SW universe, anything you can think of. The board would be really active.

Western art was always permitted, even though the mods occasionally went nuts and deleted it. Eventually they added a rule against it, and people got mad (because no one wanted that rule except them) and kept posting it, so the mods stopped enforcing...
