This has happened before and literally gone on for hours, unchecked.
Its 2016 now. Last year was probably the worst year 4chan had on record, with more people leaving this site, Redditors and newfags invading in full force, and of course moot stepping down and selling the site to Hiro. The time to finally clean house has now come. We cannot continue to have these moderators, aka moot's buddies run this site. They have shown time and time again they have massive biases against certain boards, they delete things they don't like, and they purposely let boards like /tv/ go to shit because either they or moot didn't like them. The insanity of all this has gotten so bad mods have been leaving up porn threads on /tv/ that always hit the bump limit, /v/ being such a cesspool they're trying to kick any anime game out and move it to /a/, newfags and Redditors shitting up the site because they think that Reddit is for serious posting and 4chan is for shitposting. Mind you most of those Redditors come from r/4chan. And of course newfags who refuse to follow the rules and just run rampant.
But its also another problem when even if you use the report system, there's always a chance the mods will ban you for some stupid fucking reason. They always love to use Global Rule #3 as a convenient excuse when they don't want to explain why they banned someone.
We need a change. Like a massive change in moderation on here. I know /a/ loves their mods and shit, but the rest of the mods on this site either don't give a shit because they hate the board they moderate, or as I have stated before, they carry agendas. Mods like swaglord for example are the reason people despise the moderation team on here, and for good reason when the fucking mods have ruined boards such as /tv/, /v/, /m/, /tg/ and /d/.
The time has come Hiro, I know you said before its hard to find new mods who are good, but god damn it man you need to hire new mods now. Its a new year Hiro. Now is the time you actually try and fix this place up and make it so people stop bitching about shit. I don't care what you have to do now. Either hire new mods without any ties or connections to moot, and make massive stickies on every single board letting people know what IS and ISN'T allowed. This cannot go on anymore. I know this thread is gonna get some shitposts in it, mostly from faggoty newfags or Redditors who don't want or like change. It's the 4chan equivalent of saying something stupid,silly, retarded, horrendous in the public eye that get peopel to either react with stares (reaction images), rebuking (posts criticizing you and mocking you), (laughing (laugh images), or jsut smirking or acknowledgment (smug anime pics etc).
Issue is that just like in real life where dealing with a person who only seeks to come up with catchphrases or seeks attention is that the content of your message and by proxy your character since in 4chan we only get your message is immensely shallow because it's sole purpose is to get attention to the point people don't want to deal with you and your seconds of fame. People fishing for you's are the equivalent of some guy at a university screaming to people embarrassing as fuck stories about themselves or edgy opinions and other people don't care because they just want enjoy their drinks in peace or wait for their study buddy to come to the university square.

Less and less I've really stopped appreciating the 4chan mentality of feeding the toxic people. I think not a many of them over there realize that it's actually about ignoring criticism entirely, instead of disregarding those who could not bring a constructive word to the table if their life depended on it. In other words, a type of person who is extremely rare on Tumblr. There are certainly people who can say something you disagree with while being a dick about it, and so you can't actually have a good discussion with them. I've found a good number of people like that on 4chan. It's just that a large chunk of a lot of communities are absolutely nice people, and said people have complete self-awareness so they always understand why someone would want to deal with a person's toxicity and think, "Ooh, I like these people! It's not a hugbox and anybody is allowed to disagree with them!"
