Look at this, seriously, go in the thread. Fuck this board, jesus christ. I truly hope /v/ gets fucking deleted.
>>440008
cry more bitch nigga
>>440008
On a scale of 0 to 10, with 10 being absolutely buttmad, how outtraged are you really?
>>440012
1.
Honestly, it just pisses me off, /v/ is fucking huge, why can't we have more mods/janitors? Why allow this literal /b/ tier thread? Why so many posters go there and keep shitposting?
When is hiro even going to fix /v/? It needs at least a fuckton of mods/janitor to keep deleting shit threads in case one some of them are offline.
He said the mod situation in general will take some time.
>>440002
I never seen that image without the caption.
Also never because Hiro is an incompetent newfag only here for the forced memes.
Are semi-oldfags better than oldfags? With semi-oldfags (people who came around 2008-10) you get the same 4chan attitude where they'll tell newfags to fuck off if they keep being cancerous and whatnot, but they usually won't use their oldfag status to try to enforce shit no one else wants and don't whine about how 4chan used to be so much better.
Oldfags are a cancer who literally cannot stop blogposting and derail tons of threads acting as if it's justified because they want to call out someone who posted wrong.
>>439998
This was saved from old /b/ on Friday, 07 March, 2008, at 12:32:29.
Could use some updating but still basically true.
The real oldfags are just a burden for the site. They are remnants from an era when 4chan was just a shitty little playground for shitposting weebs, and they feel that it should always be like that.
They are scum.
>>440001
I completely agree with this.
Do people on /news/ just constantly change their IPs or something? With the very low post limit I have trouble understanding how hundreds of posts of discussion is possible.
>>439982
Everybody is limited to posting 5 stories per IP address. This means that threads stay active for weeks before they archive. So I'd imagine a lot of people do it if they can so that they can post current news every day. I, for one, can't do that due to circumstances with my ISP so I have to wait weeks until my threads fall off page 10 and it sucks.
I really like /news/ and hope it stays around even though I can hardly ever post new threads. I hope I'm not the only one but admit that might be the...

Are the mods ever going to do anything about this notorious Malaysian shitposter?

Don't bully Malasya, he was the Star of the winterball.
how about that singapore guy who won't stop making "the game industry is pure degeneracy" threads
Guys why don't threads that I don't like get pernabanned.
I hate seeing threads that I don't like
FUCK hiding them myself, or ignoring them, threads that I don't like are on the same level as CP.
Mods please do something about threads I personally don't like as my thoughts should dictate this website.
>>439869
Every post is so dense, there's so much going on.
>hiding threads
>wanting 4chan to be a hugbox
filters were a mistake and Hiro should remove them
>>439869
Hi, /pol/. How's your basement? I mean, your mom's basement.
Why does it take so long for the mods to delete a thread on /v/? Serious question.
Can you comprehend how many threads are constantly being created on /v/? It's a lot to keep track of.
>>439784
>>>/v/327014772
This thread is still up after over half an hour.
>>439787
I'm actually surprised they havent taken that down.
Has nothing to do with vidya and is just some fag plugging his shit video.
It's annoying that mods have instant response to certain topics, including video game ones, but are slow to delete shit like that.
Who came up with the idea for /s4s/, moot?
>>439776
It was a joke board for april's fool
Moot liked it and decided to keep it. Something along the lines of "reminds me of old /b/"
>>439777
oh yeah, i forgot about that. i'm stupid. nvm
>>439777
Nice trips, that board was a lot of fun before it was listed.
Can I report this shit? >>>/wsr/53178
The thread is filled with samefagging and cancer.
It isn't neither rule violation, illegal content or against any rule of the board, so I don't know if it could count as abusing.
What do I do if this happens again?
Should I report or nah?
>>439747
Stop spamming this.
>>439751
What? No, I'm serious.
I just wanted to know if I could do something about it or just let it fly.
>>439747
>samefagging and cancer.
Eh, I'm gonna go with you have no idea what you're talking about and it's breaking no rules.

Really, I hate phones.
Why is it okay to avatarfag in draw threads on /b/?
Yes
Because nobody gives a fuck about /b/
Is it just me or did 4chanx fuck up the UI and functions a bit?
The things I have noticed so far
>Desktop notifications are giant and ugly
>Doesn't show the content of quote links/images/webms when you hold and drag them
Also thought youtube links didn't show the names of the video, but that seems to be only on the catalog
pic unrelated
Actually 2nd one seems to be a problem with firefox
>>439535
actually I just reinstalled and I'm having some problem clicking on reply's and it pyramiding them? any settings for that?
4chanX is a botnet, can't believe people still use that shit
I am starting to get real tired of people calling every post or poster they don't like "bait". It's the laziest shit ever and is the definition of a thought-terminating cliche.
And I definitely don't remember it being this common before. What the fuck happened?
>>439500
This post is bait
>>439500
A lot of posts really are bait. It's ridiculous how far people will go to try to squeeze a single reply out of just one person. I blame "board culture".
>>439505
I'm not saying bait doesn't exist. Just that people now use it for any post they don't like. It's incredibly aggravating to make a decently long post only for some shitposting retard to call it bait because he doesn't want to actually reply to it.
