So does Hiro even do anything for this fucking site or are we all just left to fend for ourselves?
This has literally been going on for a fucking year now. All day, but mostly at night, a group of autists will post BLACKED/Porn/CP during the same hour with the same fucking OPs.
What's even funnier is that these threads are sometimes left up for hours, while other threads are deleted normally. Sometimes posts WITHIN the threads are deleted while the thread is left up.
It's painfully obvious the mods/janitors are in on it, and I've heard this happens on /pol/ and /r9k/ as well.
What I just want to know is: What the fuck is the point of all of this? Are mods really cucks? Do they want to drive out a certain group? Social engineering to get people to become comfortable with normally repulsive situations?
>inb4 thread deleted
I just wanted to voice this out here.

>So does Hiro even do anything for this fucking site or are we all just left to fend for ourselves?
I think the triumvirate that moot mentioned is still in charge and hiro just pops in to fuck around. Despite creating 2ch and going to school in the US he claims ignorance both of imageboards and English.
You can try the IRC, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
He'd have to get rid of /tv/'s mods to do any good. They are happily complicit in /tv/ turning into /b/:interracial porn edition
We seriously need input from moderation about this. It's been ongoing for far too long is and is definitively ruining board culture. This is becoming a staple of /r9k/ and /tv/. Everytime you go on either board there will be at least one of these threads up, as well as variations of it that don't involve porn. It has to be dealt with in some way otherwise every other populous board will denigrate into the same condition /b/ is in.
I'm giving the mods a choice:
Either be more active in moderating /vp/ or remove the board altogether.
A board that is made for only one specific series is obviously going to have massive amounts of shitposting.
Add that to the fact that there's so much furry Pokemon art (breaking global rule 3), the fact that the Pokemon community is obsessed with "leaks" of information about the games to the point that fake leaks are made constantly and posted constantly, and the fact that there are obvious divisions within the fandom, the worst being people...

You gonna post that in every thread on this board?
Because in case you hadn't noticed threads like this are the entire reason this board exists.
>>577987
i don't know if you noticed but shit like this gets routinely ignored around here by anyone that matters
~===> BAN HUNGER GAMES THREADS FROM /trash/ <===~
They're constantly taking up like half of the board and pushing other threads off. There is no reason they should be there and not /b/ where shit moves fast anyway. It's the same thing over and over and over and over and fucking over. It's not fun or entertaining anymore, it's cancer. Fuck, it's not even /trash/, this is straight-up /compost/ material. They are genuinely the most unfunny, unoriginal fucking things I have come across since I fucking watched two twins twerk on a Jewish black...

>ban x from /trash/
I don't think you understand the purpose of that board.

>BAN
>FROM /trash/
>BAN SOMETHING FROM AN UNMODERATED BOARD
>everyone more normally functional than me is filthy normalfag
>everyone more mentally ill than me (bronies, furfags) is a degenerate
Is there a bigger group of hypocrites with no self awareness than weeaboos?
le who are you le quoting XD

You know where to go right? I dont have to say the words
>make a thread
>never get replies
Here, have a (you) and a 1/0/2
>>585324
I kno
>>585324
You clearly didnt say cuck or reddit enough.
they are nothing but source for autism, stalking and unfunny bullshit like filename threads
I do miss the unix timecodes as the face of the file, and having to actually go into the thread to see the filenames.
Those were better days.
>doge.jpg
I'd love to hear and explanation for this one.
No one gives a fuck about you getting banned, give context or fuck off.

Someone asked where I lived. We were talking about Pokemon GO.
>>585180
appeal?
I submitted a banner for /w/ in what'll be two days ago in a few hours. I'm not 100% sure it'll get approved without making a modification, and as such would like to know if it's ok ASAP since voting ends tomorrow, and I don't want to submit the modified one because it's not as good and I don't want my banner stealing votes from my other banner. When I submitted banners in previous contests they were all either approved or rejected within 24 hours. I tried re-submitting it but it said I already uploaded it.

since submissions* end tomorrow, not voting
and pic is not related

Ask in the irc
Two new questions/statements/thread starters need to be added to the "off topic or /b/tier threads" list in /pol/'s sticky.
>Really makes you think/wonder
>What did he mean by this?
Current "off topic /b/tier" starters in the sticky include:
>Red pill me on X. (with no extra content or input of your own)
>Are X white?
>Is X degeneracy?
>How come X girls...

Join the club, /pol/ . Wait your turn.
There is like 8 different boards that need sticky updates.

Its stupid the amount of shit
This
a list of methods commonly used to derail conversations or those used by shills could also be helpful. but a lot of people on this site are ready and willing to swallow the whole fishing pole so i don't know if it'd achieve anything
>rampant anti-police, anti-white rhetoric on major social media sites like reddit and 4chan
>5 cops dead
>assassination attempts on Donald Trump
>Republicans literally being attacked and beaten in the streets
is it time you /qa/tards admit that appeasing left wingers and allowing them a platform to spew their violent rhetoric has done more harm than good?
/qa/ is and will always be following the wisdom of Comrade Marx, Lenin and Stalin.
Slava Rossia!
>social media sites like reddit and 4chan

Fuck off.
How about re-ordering the catalog/pages so that the first visible threads are actually from around the middle of the thread queue instead of the most recent thread? Re-distribute the users a little.
With the current system, active threads naturally draw in more activity. In the new system, inactive threads draw in activity.
People who leave the thread open will still see all their updating thread posts when they refresh the page, as normal, but users popping on to find new threads will find the threads that are less immediately popular.
It would naturally...

Jesus christ faggot, you can literally change the catalog from bump order to almost everything you want.
>>585084
I'm talking about the default. You know, the thing 99% of users use. I'm so happy that you're in the 1%. Good on you, Anon.
>>585087
>can't use the catalog
hi /pol/
Can we make posting screencapped Tweets a bannable offense and add social media links to the filter?
It's gotten completely out of control, 99% of Tweets linked/posted are either obvious troll accounts or completely off topic.
What's even the point of making a thread about a 200 letters tweet if you could just use twitter to fucking respond.
>>585061
Holy shit yes, this, seconded.
>>585061
As thread OP's? yes
As post images? No
Sometimes they are related to /pol/ screencaps
>>585061
BAN THE INTERNET FROM THIS WEBSITE. I DONT COME HERE TO BE REMINDED THAT IM A FUCKING LOSER. THIS IS MY PERSONAL SAFE SPACE.
Ban linking or mentioning unlisted boards (e.g. /qa/) on other boards
No search engine results for unlisted boards
Delist some more boards
>>585019
How about instead you just stop posting on 4chan if you think it's so terrible.
Here is an example post that demonstrates why this is necessary
>>585024
The nuclear option would be shutting down the site or at least putting it on hiatus.
Or you know, mods and staff could do their FUCKING JOBS and cleaning up the mess theyve let fester for years, instead of shitposting or aiding and abetting other shitposters and then sitting back and watching the chaos.
But neither of those will ever happen, so I support this.
Business idea: Give OPs control over flags and IDs, specifically on /pol/.
Some people on /pol/ thinks flags causes threads to spiral into /int/ levels of shitposting rather than discussing the topic at hand.
And some people would prefer, especially in generals, that they are anonymous for the entirety of the whole thread as some generals last a long time.
As you know, /pol/ is a mature board and is perfectly capable of using these new powers appropriately.
Just give it a trial, that's all I ask.

Interesting idea but what do you expect us on /qa/ to do about it?

You know what's sad? When you look at /r/ you see the sticky is 2D, but these days the board is saturated with boring 3D garbage no different from the most basic of porn sites.
It's all so... normal. 3D was a mistake.
