I've got a means to save /v/. Ban literally everybody who posts along a timeframe that indicates that they're there all day long. If they post many many times across two hours, fine. If they post infrequently all day long, every day of the week, not fine. Take about a month to gather as much data as you want on different IPs and then sweep through and ban everybody who trips the wire.

Naruto is a gateway anime of the worst kind. It's a bad series, a clusterfuck of story and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping faggotry and DARKNESS. The normal anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the series itself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad. However, these very aspects that try to smear over the shit of its core make it a breeding ground for aspie, unsociable underageb& faggots who engage in every kind of faggotry both online and in the real world. The superpowered characters all trying their hardest to look cool, the jutsus, peculiar, colorful clothes, the whole ninja faggotry and everything about the Naruto world fuels their escapist fantasies, while the pity-party character backgrounds, emphasis on revenge, and overall preachiness of the series make it fit just right with the mary-sueish drives of your average preteen and his sense of unwarranted self-importance towards the world. Exactly the kind of shit that makes little kiddies and underageb& retards eat this shit right the fuck up. Naruto is basically THE series to attract the most hated anime fanbase known to /a/, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every anon to troll the fuck out of this show and everyone who likes it, and ensure that no Naruto threads ever encourage the newfriends to show their faces here.

As unfair as it is to /jp/, /jp/ really isn't a very high quality board to begin with. Still, I know quite a few of those threads should sooner be deleted than sent to any other board. Very few threads should ever be moved to another board instead of being deleted.

Hiroyuki sensei I suggest that all Mods and Janitors on every board should have IDs whenever they post or ban someone just as a form of accountability to keep this from happening. That way, if one over steps their bounds, users can report them and they can be held accountable for their abuse of power if they get too many complaints.

Sorry to say, /vr/ is affected as well. Our Dreamcast threads keep getting deleted for "not retro," even though the sticky clearly states they are retro. Go figure.
The janitor is barely active to begin with, but when he is, he not only deletes Dreamcast discussions, but also nukes random posts from various other threads all in one massive sweep. I started a thread about Gauntlet once. Gone within minutes, and I was even warned for posting it.
And then there's literal homophobia enforced by the janitor. People complain about jannies having a left-wing bias on other boards, but it's the complete opposite on /vr/. You can't talk about LGBT characters who appear in retro games, much less subjects like same-sex romance in The Sims or Baldur's Gate. Even though the janitor is barely active any other time, those posts get deleted *very* quickly.

I realize the main reason Tor is blocked is the abuse potential, but these points of abuse can be battled
One is the posting of illegal content, like CP. Some possible solutions would be to create a whitelist that either only allows for pictures commonly posted on 4chan to be posted or works similar to systems like Google's SafeSearch (which is pretty effective these days, you hardly ever get NSFW content anymore if you wanna avoid it), image moderation before they're posted, or simply allowing only text posts to be made through Tor
Another is the potential of spam, which can be battled through the use of more/harder CAPTCHAs that are necessary to be filled out if you're on Tor (iirc reCAPTCHA has a way of controlling the difficulty of CAPTCHAs a user gets)
Ban evasion may be a problem, but let's be honest here, doesn't make a difference to ban evaders whether they have to reset their router or go on Tor; Tor being allowed won't increase the number of people who evade their bans significantly, if at all
Long story short I'm just saying that the POSSIBILITY to post through Tor should exist, in the spirit of "raw, unfiltered discussion" as moot put it - at least for a tryout period, if it proves unsuccessful, then fair enough

Anarchy A - Every OP is responsible for his own thread. He can moderate 1 thread at a time.
Anarchy B - Every anon has some form of power over one another.
Socialism - A poster may not make a thread or excessively bump unless he has fresh content ro post.
Fascism - The mods and janitors are allowed to do anything they want with the users and the boards they moderate over.
Monarchy - Only 1 true admin per board. No janitors and no report functions. Users may have a sticky thread for requesting things to the admin.
