After weeks of complaints when will the push to get /pol/ garbage off of /v/ begin?
shut thef fuck up faget
>>363496
>/pol/ garbage
When you realize it's coming from 8gag/gg/ and not from /pol/.
>>363531
Or maybe it's coming from neither and those are just convenient boogeymen to explain away shitposters and people with different opinions on your own boards.
>all these boards with large names
What is this 8gag?
>>363453
How much of an autist do you have to be to complain about a 4 or 5 letter board name vs a 1 or 2 or 3 letter board name?
>>363453
>/lgbt/ and /trash/ are the only boards with names longer than 3 letters
>>363491
>he doesn't know about /news/
lol what a newfag
Are we going to have journalistic standards on this board or what?
>>>/news/918
>>>/news/948
>>>/news/879
>>363404
Why do you think you get to decide what news is worthy of discussion and what isn't? There are all extremely reputable sources.
>>363408
Why do you not already know the definition of what is news and ha is tabloid gossip? This isn't about my personal opinion, this is about celebrity trash objectively not being the point of a /news/ board.
>>363410
as a /pol/ack I'm sure you had no problem posting another thread bitching about clockboy. How is that news if no other celebrity news is either?
The difference is that clockboy is flavor of the month while the Kardashians are american royalty.
Kotaku confirmed not credible news.
Thank you based, Hiro.
It was just a test to see if you would allow it.
Its a "blog" site, of course its not credible. Reuters, FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, RT, and Al Jazeera are all credible, Al Jazeera is debatable
>>363370
>RT
>>363383
Hate to say it, but they're not a blog site. They might have a pro Russian stance, but they're not even close to Salon, Breitbart, Daily Kos, and Rolling Stone are
>8. Complaining about 4chan (its policies, moderation, etc) on the imageboards may result in post deletion and a ban.
I got a 3 day ban for complaining about mod policies in /qa/?
What the fuck, this entire board is filled with threads complaining about moderation and shitting on 4chan policies and somehow this rule is in effect?
I know it's a global rule but applying it to /qa/ is obviously bullshit.
>>363364
>inb4 ban
>>363369
How do you know that guy wasn't banned? They don't have to actually delete the post to ban someone.
>create imageless imageboard
>call it a textboard
So textboards aren't actually coming back then?
>>363315
maybe not in the format you prefer, but they are already back and you posted a pic of the first one of hopefully many.
>>363328
without SJIS art, visible sage, thread-contained post counters and all the rest it's just not the same...
This format is better anyway. True textboards look like a fucking mess.
How do we fix /mu/? Today it was just awful
>/pol/ tier shitposting thread on refugees reaches limit
>raises spork mallgoth spam
>rym curve thread reaches full autism
>sharethread ruined by jtg and djentspammer
>countless other low quality threads
We need more active mods
that actually sounds better than normal

You're part of the problem.

Why hasn't this image been changed? moot (>imb4 who?) is no longer moot. Hiroshima Nagasaki is now moot

because that's our founder?

Those moot related ones shouldn't be removed but it'd be pretty cool to also see Hiro variants pop-up from time to time..

kick ass
Hiroyuki please add auto-ban/auto-warning for all social media on 4chan especially for reddit, 9gag, facebook, twitter, tumblr etc. ban their hashtag, name of subsection(such "subreddit"), links on their , their filename, ban for file with their copyright etc.
Save us Hiroyuki, nuke all cancer!
>>362979
This is actually possible.
Firstly, 4chan needs to check the HTTP Referer. HTTP Referers are sent when you click on an embed link (e.g. LOL GUISE LOOK AT THIS COOL SITE OMFG http://4chan.org). If it doesn't come from other chans, auto-warn/auto-ban the user.
To stop Reddit, or wherever 4chan screencaps are posted, 4chan could change the background to a gore image, disgusting image, whatever, anything that triggers these sites, everytime the user presses Prt...

Checking the referrer would be an interesting idea.
You guys want to know why there is such hate against /pol/ nowadays? Because once /b/tards got too much heat, they migrated to /pol/ and are filling the board with shitposting and bait threads.
The gates video didn't exactly help either, bringing in a ton of people from outside this site straight into /pol/ of all places.
>>362952
>You guys want to know why there is such hate against /pol/ nowadays?
Because of flags shitting things up for everybody. Not even """/b/tards""" can deal with fucking flags compromising their anonymity. The new users on /pol/ are strictly refugees from the banned subreddits and morons who got banned from stormfront for being too edgy.
>>362958
Go shit in the street
/Pol/ just talks about stuff that's happening despite the sea of shills.
It's a place to feel comfy while the whole system falls apart around us.
4chan is desperately in need of a trap board.
>>362240
A board that gets automatically populated with threads and posts taken from other boards that auto-bans anyone that makes a real post sounds pretty amusing desu.
>>362255
Excellent repeating doubles. Make it mod-deleted threads from other boards, like what shows up on the /bans page.
>>362255
Don't auto-ban them. Let them post. It's like some kind of mutated hellban. You can't tell if a new post is from an actual user or from another board.
G-guys...
boards.4chan.org/news/
It's empty.

Just like my soul
teste
Don't worry, anon.
My dad works at 4chan and he tells me they're just working on the back-end to make it so the OP can only post links.
It's going to be a link-only board.
/agdg/ contributes nothing to the site. No one there is actually making games.
The general has a story with pedophilia.
They almost drove an underaged kid to suicide with sexual harassment and rape threats.
They actually did mail an explosive device to another frequenter of the general.
Not only that, but pedophilia discussion is common. Threads get constantly deleted because of that.
They have a history of prank calls to the FBI. They got the house of one of their members raided a couple weeks back.
Several of the few actual developers that post...

U mad bro?
>No one there is actually making games.
>They have tried to make pedophilic rape simulator games.
Please revise your post. "Tried" is the key word which means they didn't actually make it? So what's the problem?
>>361305
>They are pedophiles.
Who else thinks there should be an option to import and export filter lists?
Maybe not everyone has 20+ filters on like I do (it's necessary to browse /tv/ to block MOST of the star wars threads and some other spoilers), but I'm getting pretty fed up entering in every filter each time the list disappears.
>tfw was too lazy to enter in all the filters once again, including a trivial one and ended up getting spoiled on a VIDEO GAME on /TV/, from the catalog image alone
could have been prevented if I had that trivial filter up...
