These are all the current catalog on /tv/ right now. Please note that I have hidden 3 porn threads, 6 meme threads and 3 other caner generals to highlight my point. If all those garbage threads were hidden there would only be maybe 8 threads actually discussing movies. I understand that a bit of memes and spam is normal on all boards and creates board culture but right now there is just too much trash to the point that it is choking out the proper content

If you're trying to force a pepe like meme you have to wait for an opportunity, something rare, somthing what will make your post stand out, so I joke alongside your picture or explaining how the picture relates to the event or simple just using it as a reaction img and hope people save the picture

I think people get mad at the impotency that the internet bestows upon us all. You have no real recourse when dealing with things that you don't like, other than to throw huge blocks of text at it and/or try to get it banned from whatever community you're a part of. I think people get mad at the fact that you post these anime images, and that you are trying to send an equally smug message of superiority, and people can't do anything about it. Like, in real life, someone could just punch you in the face...
