So I'm applying for this job, and they've asked for a professional and academic letters of recommendation. I immediately message a lady I worked under and asked if her offer to write me a letter still stood. She said "absolutely." and told me she would write it the following Monday (a week from today.) I then emailed a professor and was told I'd have the letter by this Monday (today). Well I ended up getting the letter from the professor early and here, a week later, after two ignored messages and an ignored text, have heard nothing from the other person....

I was an agency recruiter for 5 years, and I've never had a single per diem deal blow up. We also never gave more than a 50/50 on per diem, but I don't think that will matter.

How is Amex as a whole? I've gotten an offer for USAA's CashBack Rewards Amex
(Which I was considering using as Balance Transfer because it has a 0% APR 15 month bit to it)
Citi Doublecash. 1% back on all purchases, another 1% back when you pay. No annual fee. Hidden benefit is that it encourages you to pay everything right the fuck back right away because it literally earns you more to do so.
