How is Amex as a whole? I've gotten an offer for USAA's CashBack Rewards Amex
(Which I was considering using as Balance Transfer because it has a 0% APR 15 month bit to it)
Citi Doublecash. 1% back on all purchases, another 1% back when you pay. No annual fee. Hidden benefit is that it encourages you to pay everything right the fuck back right away because it literally earns you more to do so.

Not bad, but I just want something as a balance transfer for now. The biggest reason it seems good as a BT is because it seems like its got a long 0% period, which will let me do more smaller transfers, which is smarter than doing one large one

Should have gotten the preferred, the 6% back in groceries and 3% in gas will erase the annual fee easily

I really don't spend that much on groceries and gas. It wouldn't benefit me.

with reward cards you never leave a balance for interest to accumulate, that just negates the rewards you earn.
So just pay in full everytime unless you're in a 0% apr promotion.
