There's only two things in life, guns and butter
Which are you going to make money off of?
I would sell butter as a food source for personal armies, which would proably exist with all the guns around.
>>1133770
the arms industry involves changing technology, there are far more opportunities for an investor than butter, even if you include margarine, soy based spreads and such companies with successful growing brands
though if you were starting a business you might be better off with butter because of the barriers to entry in the arms industry and you can compete with the big brands by producing higher quality butter
>>1133770
I'm going to provide an app which allows you to compare the relative prices of guns and butter to find the best deal at any given time.
Prepare for the 2nd coming
A rise is inevitable
NEM is the Japan ether
An ether than was not made by a Russian spy

XEM is crashing hard right now. This coming from someone who invested 40 bits into it. It better rise fast now. I'm sure it will but I'm still pissed that it rose high and dived hard.
>>1133744
support went back up to around 200btc
it had a correction, but it is the real deal , much like ether i see a steady rise over the next year
ether is larger in numbers so it going up and down 100k is the same at 100 you shall see
just my opinion though

When did you buy in?
Hello I am currently a 20 year old in Canada neet but looking for a new start.
I'm tired of being dragged down by parents and living in a shitty place that doesn't really allow for much employment.
I have about $1500 worthless of belongings and approximately $30,000 CAD in ETFs + cash. I have no full drivers license.
Is it possible to move out and find a good enough job to live on my own? What are things I should know and do?
Has anyone here left behind all their friends/family and moved out and became semi-successful?
T-thanks /biz/...

>tfw can't decide on a major
please /biz/ you're my only hope
what are some good majors that will definitely land me a job after graduating
at this rate im thinking about just quitting and becoming an electrician
Double major in a hard and soft science, e.g. econ and chem. Tranfer to prestigious school for MBA if you aren't a retard. Get money
accounting. you can do literally any role in business with a foundation in accounting
invest your money on knee pads instead pham
I have about 60k EUR CASH.
How the fuck do I hedge against the whole EU collapsing thing and Brexit?
I cannot buy ETH with it, since it is CASH. I cannot really buy much with it. I am thinking of buying a plot of land and building a little house on it.
Thoughts?
>>1133468
I had the same amount of money and bought an apartment with it. nets me 300€ per month, not crazy but safe at least.
>>1133482
Got it. So real estate it is.
house/apartments are the worst thing you can do (tax, repairs ect),
i suggest buy some gold/silver if you are SO afraid

I am working on a TapTap game - tap an image and it rewards you with XXXX.
Anyway, would anyone like to "reword" this for me? Your name will be included in the credits as well as an "appropriate" link.

Is there any chance of making decent apps for android in python?
It seems possible but I'm not sure why no one uses it, I'm guessing it's not really efficient.
>>1133370
I wouldn't or haven't even looked at python. I do love CoronaSDK (Lua) and PhoneGap/Cordova (HTML/JS/CSS3)
I make about US$150/month - no marketing.
Any professsional poker players here? If I'm pretty good at beating bots/games (governor of poker hard mode, neopokerbot.com, pokerTH) do I have a chance at becoming successful or should I ditch the idea and stay a NEET?
>>1133245
The amount of time you spend studding maths and playing you might as well just be a wageslave.
Become a NEET and clame sweet sweet NEETbucks while getting poker money.
>>1133245
With rake 1/2 is actually difficult to be a consistent winner unless you're playing against retards. Online poker is practically impossible at anything above .25/.50 unless you have a HUD, study a lot, and don't tilt. I love playing poker as a hobby and I have made some money from it, but I consider it just a hobby and would never consider trying to go pro for a second.
>>1133245
Maybe some of the more advanced players could answer me.
I thought about an automated poker program, which plays against newbies. I run the program and let it beat some idiots in the lower stake range. Do you think this could be profitable on the long run? Similar to some automated programs on the stock market. Or am I missing an important factor?
Want to generate a passive income, besides stocks and what not I am looking for other ideas.
Right now I am thinking of making and selling ebooks, any advice on this matter would be appreciated.
Also any information regarding costs of hiring a programmer to design apps.
Could I make porn profitable?
Thanks
None of those ideas are passive. Passive means you put money down and you get cash coming in. Very little time is involved, basically only to check your bank account.
>>1133851
I don't think this is correct.
Passive in my eyes is creating something that is eventually self sustaining, whether by labor or financially.
>>1133228
Buy ETH, there is your passive income.
But honestly, passive income is a meme. There is no such thing. You work and then you get money.
I was watching the movie OFFICE SPACE (great movie btw).
basically it's about a guy who hates his cubicle job, and all of sudden doesn't give a fuck about anything anymore and become ultra relaxed.
Once he's relaxed, everything gets much better. He gets a hot girlfriend, a promotion etc.
I had an epiphany watching this because I realized I've been stressing out things too much and it's SOO counter productive.
If you just change your mindset to "ok let's have fun while doing this, worst case I'll fail" then...

It's hard but it's good desu
I know what you are saying bro, and I have been down this road myself.
However.
When a job sucks. There is no amount of relaxing and not caring about it that really fixes the problem. At the end of the day it will still eat at you that you get up every morning and do something you don't like.
Relaxing about your work is only 50% of the battle.
Just my thoughts OP.
>>1133179
What's the other 50% of the battle then?
Ebay Thread?
So here's my question. I have been selling on Ebay for 10 years. Never had a single issue. Today I get a request to return an item.

> It should have sold for $150, but sold for $90. whatever
> $50 shipping fee
> I shipped it out the day the guy bought it
> 6 days later he emails me and says he bought it for an F150 and now realizes it wont...

Just sold my stake in a business and made approximately $100k. Now I need to figure out what to do with it.
Wut do?
Was thinking about picking up a 2-4 unit building for rental. Would cost about 120k and could rent each unit out for about 600 a month. I have a mortgage, but it is at 3%, so paying it off makes no sense. Market looks pretty volatile. Anything else I should consider?
Buy ETH and turn that money into MUCH more.
>>1132933
>so paying it off makes no sense
This is the famous statement made by most bankrupt property investors.
>>1132933
Pay off your mortgage, make sure you have six months worth of emergency expenses, and then play with the rest. Recognize that that's all that you are doing: playing with it like a game.
any online scams I could do to get rich instantly?
You could buy ethereum but it's not instant.
