Much love
Yes.
Almost bought the car op posted when it was for sale last year. 220whp of all motor 2.3 goodness. I've had a 01 zx3, 07 zx3, and now a 05 wagon with a stick because why the fuck not. Parts collecting for a 2.5 swap out of an escape now

I thought the 2.3 pzev was sub 150hp

>Other STi owners always wave back with a smile on their face
What is wrong with WRX drivers exactly? Seems like all of them are douches, even to their big brother counterparts.
Maybe they aren't autists like you.

desu i just flash my highbeams when i see a car like mine.

2 years ago. BC, Canada. Went 140kph in a 60kph zone. It was a downhill section and I was dagumi.
Got slapped with $458-something I don't remember. In addition to a 7 day impoundment that cost ~$998. Then got slapped with an annual surcharge of $320/year for 3 years.
so in total, around $2416 for going 80kph over.

$250 for speeding, I was 2 hours late for work that day. FML!

Hey /o/ I recently bought a 1988 mustang LX roller (no motor no trans) off of craigslist for $950. Any recommendations on what drop in for the tranny and engine, as well as what do with the car in general? Also recent craigslist buys thread.
5.0 coyote and t-56
Drive it on the Fury road and be witnessed.
since you dont mention your budget Im going to assume youre on a tight one
351 or 5.0 from junkyard (whichever is cheaper for you)

Id go drift missile/hoonmobile myself but eh
Mazda filed a patent relating to the new Skyactiv-Rotary engine.
Key notes:
Flipped 180 degrees around. The exhaust port is now at the top and intake on the bottom.
The exhaust is also no longer exiting out the side of the side, but bends to make it come out the top to make room for a larger turbo, instead of a small one packed under the intake. (Considering they want room for a large turbo, I'm figuring it'll be a variable geometry one.)
Reduced plumbing by having the intake come in from the same side of the exhaust instead of looping over the top...

Nor-cal has meet-ups.
South-cal has meet-ups.
EVEN ONTARIO HAS MEETUPS.
It's about time for a midwest meetup.
>b-b-but last time there were plans for a meetup and nothing happened.
This time we are planning, but WE WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN.
The date for this will be mid May or June. We have give or take a month and half up to 2 months. Maybe this will take place in Chicago?
Let's make this happen, /o/
>>14781128
>chimpcongo
But why? Last time I drove through there it was fucking miserable.
Also I can't CC in IL.
>>14781194
Chicago is being used as a reference point atm. We'll probably cruising somewhere outside of the city.
I'm down OP
>>14781194
>can't CC in IL
What's CC?
>My favourite kinda car is the black one from supernatural
>I'm not sure what it is but it's black and shiny and really cool.
>I think it might be a ford mustang
I have heard several girls say this when asked about cars... Why?
Not just the one girl but lots say this.
>>14779143
It's probably because they recognize the appeal of b-pillarless autos.
The Supernatural fan community is huge and uncomfortably obsessive. I dated a woman in her late 20s who was really into it. She at least knew it was a '67 Impala and the specs of the various cars used on the show, but I vowed never to date another woman who watched Supernatural. All day she was comparing whatever was going on around her to the show. She had virtually no sex drive but she wanted us to both roleplay as male characters in the bedroom. She cosplayed and went to conventions where she sold fanart with her other creepy friends. She even had a lifesize Castiel doll in her house.
Girls just like whatever cars guys tell them to like tbqh m8. This is why country girls like trucks and city girls like BMWs and shitty rustangs in the high school parking lot.
If the television says "like this car" they will like it.
Which would you choose?
neither cause im not a fuck boy

I have one OP. /o/ is going to hate on it. I like mine just fine and its somewhat fun to drive. Its an alright car, but there is defiantly better choices out there.

No, really.
Here is one car that is a miracle of modern engineering, and a bottom of the barrel shitbox. The former has track focus, costs a hundred times more, bleeding edge technology, and a dozen times the horsepower. The latter is about as slow as you can buy.
Yet around the track, the 918 is only a mere 30% faster. Why isn't it, say, twice as fast or something? That doesn't make sense to me,
>>14839315
hey its roger posting from my thinkpad edge e530c
the reason is because were not in outer space stupid
if we were i would blow a load on your moms face that would never stop splashing on it because of the effect of zero gravity
it would just continue to turn into jizz circles and she would keep on swimming around like a really athletic fjord trout (you would eat it if u werent poor) just gulping it down
she would say "roger this is the best shower of jizz i have ever had, i hope...

The Vayron SS has 20% more power then the standard yet doesn't go 20% faster. Lewis Hamilton has 300% more world champions then Jenson Button but he doesn't out qualify 300% faster.
An increase of just 1% off of a latimer can be very expensive, and usually scales logarithmicly. Especially if the car is to also be usable for normal car things.
>>14839330
Ah, I see.
I don't know why I didn't think of that before.
Hi /O/ this is my first time here but I recently totaled my 2009 smart car, I will mourn her till the day I die, and am looking at amother sub compact. A dealership near me has a 2014 Chevy Spark at 12K with 40K miles OR a 2015 fiat 500 Pop for 13K at 7k miles. I know I am a faggot who drives fag cars but i live in a bigger city, am looking at something with decent milage that doesn't need plugged in and like subcompacts so which would you recommend.
>>14835233
500
>>14835255
You think? I don't doubt anyone cuz I know fuck all but is there a reason why? I'd love to find out as much ad I can from you experts
My sister has the 500, it's a bit funny looking but it's really comfy. Just get that instead
/o/ what do, I have been offered this for 1500 with spares it's turboed and runs well apparently but it's auto.

Take it! As long as you got a car think about all the possibilities.
Do you have money set aside to go over it and fix anything broken? How mechanically apt are you? Are you willing to learn?
Yay for hail, new car time. going to shop around for a p71 what should i look for
>car beat up visually
>wants to trade to a car that's beat up mechanically
U fooken wot m8?
