In my experience with owning an NB Miata and a flashy-ish sports car DD, people would talk to me about the former at least twice as much; I suppose given it's the embodiment of a driver's car more enthusiasts will be partial towards and knowledgeable about it.

The MR2 is actually designed to be driven with the top down at all times apart from when it's raining. The cabin noise and wind buffering is actually better with it down, and the heater is excellent. its an open top car

250whp miatas are generally unreliable as shit and prone to over-heating. If you were actually planning on tracking the vehicle, a 2zz is the superior choice.

Miats. But I reccommend the Toyota. They are more rare, they can get it with just a Camry v6 swap (better mpg too). They also have more feels when driving stock, imho.

Only reason I would get a miats is because I'm a sucker for the design and they are p close in all aspects.
