Every Chipotle I have seen in the last few months has been a ghost town. It use to be how you said, but now, I can get food the second I walk up to the counter. Id say they are dam near as fast as Mcdonalds at this point

you're getting 4 oz of rice, 4 oz of meat, 4 oz of beans, 4 oz of lettuce, 4 oz of cheese, and 4 oz of guac. a good manager can have his store make 15k on friday, 15k on saturday, and 15k on sunday.

Apparently keeping track of forums is the best way to find good HITS. There's a subreddit for it, and if you stay out of the comments reddit might not be cancer.
I'm transferring into a real college, And I want to bust my ass and actually work hard. I'm going to small dry campus and studying at a respected school.
I want to really get good grades so I can go to law school and do maritime or corporate law.
But I hear the prospects for law school are terrible. I am determined to get into one of the top 25. But I just can't dump the notion of becoming a lawyer.
I just can't.

1. Do not go to law school unless you can get into a T14. My boyfriend graduated at the top of his section at a T14 and has plenty of friends (all very smart people who passed the bar, got great clinic experiences, and good grades) are not yet employed.
2. Before even applying, WORK IN A LAW FIRM FIRST.
I cannot stress this second point enough. Every single person I know who went to law school immediately out of undergrad decided to swallow...

Anyone know anything about finding a headhunter?
I'm moving in a few months and would prefer to have a new job lined up when I do. I've been tossing out a wide net, but no bites. I've been looking at the Glassdoor profiles of a bunch of the companies I've applied for, and I'm finding just about everyone who received an interview and/or offer for similarly skilled positions did so through a recruiter or headhunter.

I have a couple of ideas for smartphone apps, but I have absolutely no experience in programming. Is there an established market where people with app ideas sell the concept to a developer to produce and then use for their own profit, or would I be better off simply hiring somebody to program it for me and monetize it myself?
learn some java, there are enough tutorials around that will teach you enough to do some easier apps alone. might take a month to learn but its worth it. if you expect that if you tell a programmer your idea and you bring in only the idea and nothing else and you share 50/50 while he is doing all the work...good luck finding this idiot.

Hey /biz/ dumb 18 year old here.
My father did not go to college, rather trade school for HVAC, and has his own successful AC company. His company profits around 5 mil a year (not his net) and he has around 5-10 full time employees. He has ran the company fairlly well, with good logos/name recognition shit.
What should I study in college so when I take over the company, I can expand the company and create new branches around my state? After I go to college I should go to trade school correct?
Here's exactly what to do:
- Go to a good business school and get a 4 year degree in BA
- In your spare time get to know your father's business intimately. Work as a tech, study his books, met his suppliers, learn what challenges he faced and what he faces now. Ask if you can be part of any meetings and even lead them.
- Get to know other companies in HVAC. What are they doing? who owns them? How do they compete. What strengths/weaknesses do they have
If you do these things you could probably graduate, and within a year or two gave total...

Do MechE then go into HVAC. MechEs deal with HVAC systems of huge buildings while tradesmen take care of houses (and so the heavy work for huge buildings)
