I have to write a consultancy report as part of a university assignment. How the fuck are you supposed to find a company to write it for, do you just randomly email or call companies?

/biz/, I'm 23 and I have about $10,000 in TFSA's, Mutual Funds and RRSP's (Canadian).
I don't know very much about investing and I would like t o learn. I'm not trying to look for the best stock to get rich, I just want to start actually educating myself about the market and finance in general.
I went to Investopedia to check out tutorials but I'm finding it pretty overwhelming, I don't even really know where to start.
I'd even be interested in books if you guys have any infographics. Any help is appreciated.

Look around for civilian scholarships and apply for as many as you can get your hands on. If you're under 26 there's also Job Corps for free training.

That GI bill is sweet, but you're better off doing ROTC and doing a four year hitch.
Marine here. After I got out I had the GI bill which is pretty helpful. But honestly dude them saying its "free" is a meme. Im in debt from college loans even with the GIB. Do not join. Your motive just is not enough.

In most cases,they are run by a family, not a single paki guy. Brothers, cousins and others jump in to cover the long working hours. It's very hard work for small pay (but after 30 yrs or so it starts paying out), and britcunts are not willing to do it.
Assuming ALL of these little shops are used to launder money, makes you and your tax autorithy look very stupid. Besides, it's easier to use consulting services and arts dealing for those kind of business.
