>>1335476
Problem with gold is, i'm not selling whether it's rising or dropping.
bought a shit ton of TGD today. yay or neigh ?
>>1335500
No, you should have invested it in the stock market after it bottomed out. Gold would have made sense if you had cash reserves in GBP or Euro and you bought it before Thursday.
>tfw you didn't sell your AMD stock at 5.40

>>1335428
Well, FTSE250 is the european indicis.
It is often the case store brand items are produced by the name brand firms themselves. What sense does it make for them to do that?

Recently starting out and would like to know some advice as well
Don't know why the mods shut your old thread OP, the sticky is garbage and doesnt help one bit
>>1335215
I deleted it because a wall of text isn't really the best way to grab people, easier with green text and bullet points to grab someone skimming.
If anyone had useful advice on how to beat the market they wouldn't be on /biz/ offering it for free.
There are no tricks. You learn how to control yourself and hedge your bets. Literally all there is to it.
>you did the Game Design meme in college years ago and still can't get anywhere
Don't want to give up but where can I go from here? Should I just go back to school?
Learn a trade. Your current degree is literally worth nothing.
>>1335200
Do you have a job in your field?
>>1335200
...colleges actually offer a degree called "Game Design?"
What should we be investing in now that the Market is tanking due to BREXIT? We know it will rebound, but we should discuss things that will give the best returns.
I'll go first:
>My friends are all saying go with apple.
I'm thinking this could be my jumping in point for the s&p

Buy or short??
What is the most economical way to sell a one year old car?
Put up a CL ad and an Autotrader ad.
Between the two you should be able to sell it between 2 and 4 weeks.
If you take it to a dealer they are gonna rape you in the $2k to $4k range.
>>1335187
This. Your best bet is to go through as few middlemen as possible. Don't trade in at a dealership and definitely don't go somewhere like CarMax. Those guys will take thousands off the value of your car.
Also if you aren't planning on driving cars for more than a year at a time you will save money on your payments by leasing it.
Place ads in a middle to upper class neighborhood. It's car season for recent graduats and some parent would love to get a deal on a car that's like new (assuming you didn't put 30k+ miles as an Uber driver or something)
Why did the EU remnants get hammered worse than the UK?
UK -3%
Italy and Spain -12%
Germany -6%
France -8%
EU got BOOTY BLASTED
>>1335097
Because the entire EU experiment has been put into play. Their wagon is hitched to a failing institution.
>>1335097
Uncertainty. Equities on the continent are more front loaded in that way. Plus Italy and Span both have referendums/elections coming up in the next couple weeks. People are just scared.
Give it time for UK equities to drop too. Once this all starts to set in it's going to catch up with them quickly.
obviously there's no surefire way but if you were to try becoming a billionaire what would you do?
