Initial D was set in the mid-1990s. Diesel cars back then were kinda shit.

Is there any way to buff out or get rid of the outline left by the "POLICE" decal on the trunk ?

Anybody own this car? How viable would this be as a daily driver in Europe? They're just so affordable, it's really tempting.
>>13823567
>In Europe
It has more than 1 liter displacement, you already can't own it
I NEED a turd gen as my next car. Very reliable OP
>>13823576
Actually if I get a 1990 or earlier model I'd only have to pay €25 a year in tax, insurance would be half price as well.
I'm more concerned about the size as it's the same length as a Range Rover with a huge bonnet, and just the general reliability situation in all weathers.

what kind of cûck allows this to happen?
Designated driver.

Also, you should allow your woman to drive sometimes so that you can teach her to be a better driver. That way she isn't a danger to the rest of us when she's on the roads.
Men driving the car by default is probably a large part of the reason women are terrible drivers.
>>13823528
>mfw you feel the idea of a woman driving their partner around somehow compromises the partner's masculinity
For the first year or so of my relationship with my current partner, she drove me around everywhere partly because I didn't have a full driver licence yet. But she gave me driving lessons, helped me overcome my nerves and encouraged me to go for the driving test (after I had failed several times before and gotten disheartened).
Where my father's teaching methods had failed, hers succeeded. I passed the test almost perfectly.
Nowadays, she's about as good of a driver as I am. Still better at handling corners than me, but on the other hand, I'm better at reversing maneuvers. So when we go out on a date, there's no strong pressure for either one of us to be -the- driver. We're both comfortable with one-another's driving skills (the fact that she drives a 6-speed manual certainly helps).
We also roughly alternate picking up the bill when going out to dinner or lunch, because we both think the idea of the man having to pay on a date all the time is bullshit, and she has a decent-paying job so she has no issue with paying for stuff some of the time.
You are a secret agent like James Bond. What car would you drive?
You are literally making a Bond thread on every board. How much does Sony Pictures pay you to waste you weekend?

Something that suits the circumstance but isn't flashy. Some fancy occasion where I have to rub elbows with millionaires? I'd probably just go for an S63 AMG, instead of a one of a kind Aston.

What's the difference between MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3?
>>13823405
the sexy suits
>>13823405
Motogp: 1000cc 4 cylinder, prototype engines, high state of tune. Highest weight.
Moto2: 600cc 4 cylinder, control engines made by honda, medium/average state of tune. Similar weight to motoGP.
Moto3: 250cc 1 cylinder, prototype engines, high state of tune, ridiculously light weight, tiny tyres.
Moto3 is 250cc, NA single-cylinder bikes, making around 50hp
Moto2 is 600cc, NA inline-four bikes (engines all identical, produced by honda), making approximately 140hp
MotoGP is 1000cc, NA four-cylinder bikes, making approximately 240-260hp. These bikes must be complete prototypes, which is why MotoGP is often compared to F1 in terms of status. For reference, MotoGP bikes are the fastest accelerating land-based race machines anywhere in the world outside of dedicated drag weapons. However, due to the natural disadvantages of two-wheels compared to four, many car-racing...

Have 40k budgeted for a car.
I have a daily, a manual 2013 focus.
I'm looking at either getting a solid v8, maybe a tune, exhaust, etc. It'd stay mostly stock. Perhaps a new 2016 camaro ss, or a Boss 302.
My other option, and the one I'm liking more and more, is to get something like a mustang ecoboost as a project car. Do a turbo swap, suspension upgrade, and add a pfi rail to deal with the DI carbon buildup. They're showing they can handle 430 whp without any issues, with quite a few kits out there with a lot of mileage in them.
The...

You aren't getting a 2012-2013 boss 302 for under 55k unless its been crashed or abused all to hell. I would suggest you drive all 3 american muscle cars an then decide. You could always buy a terminator cobra for around 23k. For that you will get one with pretty low miles and maybe a few mods. You can then sink about 3-4k in mods into it and get around 470whp without a ported blower or 500whp-530whp with a stage 5-6 ported blower. Then save the rest of the money in case you wanted to have more power later...

ITT: insurance fails.
Crashed my car before I left for basic training. Crashed head on into a pole and was sure it was gonna be totaled out, agent was being stubborn and said the car was worth too much to total it out, and insurance ended up paying 16k to fix car was 24k when I bought it brand new. Left it at body shop and was told it would be done a week after I left so left my dad to take care of my car before I left. Found out after basic that the car still wasn't done but I wasn't worried about it since I wouldn't be driving it anytime soon since I'm...

My 1988 325is E30 was stolen from me a month ago by a "friend" and I have no idea where the location until yesterday I given a note that someone went to go see it in West Palm Beach.
I am asking for your help in finding my first car in Lake Worth Florida or West Palm Beach.
Maybe some of you have some really good computer skills. All i got up to was finding his moms phone number and dads phone number.
