where do you guys put your gps / phone holders?
I bought an iottie for my crown victoria, but I'm realizing, there isn't a lot of space for this particular product.
I'm thinking where pic related is marked because then I can also use it as a dash cam if needed, but will it obstruct my view? also, be legal?
CD slot clamps a best. Sturdier mount than suction cups, doesn't obstruct the view in any way, and who uses CDs anyway?
e30 has this little coin holder area that is good for leaving a phone
I put mine there with something behind it to prop it up

Objectively, what is the best station wagon out there?
>>13861762
It's a shame your thread only has one possible answer.
I'd still choose a v60 over it though
Not only the best station wagon, but the platform might very well be the best allround car of the last 25 years.
740 :^)

Given the same displacement, cam, compression, ignition and injection timing, bearing sizes, oiling, valve configuration, rod:sroke ratio, which engine is more fuel efficient in terms of mpg: oversquare(big bore) or undersquare(long stroke)?
Advantages of oversquare:
>less piston ring frictional losses
>less sidewall thrust
>less windage losses
>smaller valvetrain with less friction...

The most efficient engine in the world right now, a marine Wartsila r96-whatever, is ridiculously undersquare, with the bore being almost ten times lower than stroke. If efficiency was the only consideration, and it was, then there is a reason it's so jesuschrist undersquare
whats a great car for autox?
something that doesn't need a huge huge list of mods to do well. decent out of the box, can be had for less than 14 grand, and seriously competitive.
I guess ill try this again on this board. Tried my first render on my car. Looks like shit but im not too mad for my first time. Planning on doing something like this irl soon. Anyone else into itasha style cars?
Dream of buying a rotary bike like suzuki re5, Norton commander and itasha it
>tfw no money to even start this motorcycle path

bozo itasha bikes are rad, and something else for sure
looks pretty cool OP
surely you are not one of those otakool normies right?
>never driven manual before
hate all you want
>going to be driving from Glendale MI through Chicago to Indy
>Will have 3-4 hours practice somewhere before driving
Am I that fucked?
It usually takes 30 minutes at most to get the hang of it. Anymore and you should go back to auto.
>>13852965
Even for downshifting?
Probably blowing this out of proportion
>>13852965
This.
I brought a truck with a manual, drove it around the lot for about 10 minutes and then drove it home.
Its not to hard, unless you are flat out fucking retarded.
Post your stories.
So raged so hard when this women driver drove fast from behind and over solid white lines into express lane. While doing so, sent debris and rocks flying, causing much deflecting sounds on windscreen. Get fuming and gun it down behind her...wish was touge instead....more pressure to get them scared.

You didnt come off the ramp fast enough faggot. Youre just mad because a woman showed you up

TOYOYAMA, Aichi Prefecture--The first passenger jet manufactured in Japan reached speeds topping 200 kph for the first time during ground trials on Nov. 6 at Nagoya Airport here.
Developed by Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp., the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) is expected to have its inaugural test flight between Nov. 9 and Nov. 13.
The actual date will be announced a day before the test flight after taking into consideration the weather conditions and state of the aircraft’s fuselage.
The MRJ's taxiing tests started in June at the airport. The tests on Nov. 6 included a trial where the aircraft taxied with its front wheels off the ground, and a test in which the MRJ reached 200 kph, the speed required for takeoff. The speed eventually reached about 220 kph.
Although Mitsubishi Aircraft originally planned to conduct the inaugural flight at the end of October, the company decided to push the timetable back two weeks to make mechanical improvements to the cockpit pedals.

This was my thought
>>13816732
I'm amazed the Japanese haven't had much to do with aviation in recent decades. I mean I expect the 'Murricans. But the other manufacturers are French, Canadian (Bombardier) and Brazilian (Embreaer). And a few more.
And then the Russians. But no civilized airline would use their planes.
>>13817145
afaik Mitsubishi only built planes for domestic consumption.
