where do you guys put your gps / phone holders?
I bought an iottie for my crown victoria, but I'm realizing, there isn't a lot of space for this particular product.
I'm thinking where pic related is marked because then I can also use it as a dash cam if needed, but will it obstruct my view? also, be legal?
CD slot clamps a best. Sturdier mount than suction cups, doesn't obstruct the view in any way, and who uses CDs anyway?
e30 has this little coin holder area that is good for leaving a phone
I put mine there with something behind it to prop it up

>obstructs view of the radio display
Great idea.

>dat McIntosh
>>13861863
That goes in the CD slot? Seems like it would fuck something up. I guess phones are fairly light tho.
>tfw buy a used car and PO stuck that goddamn suction cup holder on
>afraid to rip it off and break something

Sweet Escape.
Based Lockpic Air V2, I use one with my factory 8.4" uconnect.
>Wireless mirror of phone to head unit display
>Bluetooth game pad to play emulators in the car on break
>>13863978
>completely different lighting on jlaw
>light shining between her torso and right arm on the phone not visible on the car screen
Are we to believe these are the same shot?
forgive the ms paint, but in the upper left of the windshield
that hud brah

>needing the radio display
>>13863996
that interior looks depressing as fuck
>>13864004
not going to lie, its not exactly the high point of my commute
mine has a few more options beyond this base level pic, but still
>drive an 04 truck
>interior was designed in 95
>>13863996
I don't think Ford could have made that interior worse if they tried. Maybe its the fleet model, but damn that is a terrible place to sit.
>>13863991
I duno what's up with the lighting, just some random picture I stole off google.
If you're implying the product doesn't exist however, under a minute of Googleing can show you otherwise. It works quite well.
>>13864020
having a few buttons helps the look a little bit, but still
>basically unchanged from 1995-2011
>>13864020
>Maybe its the fleet model
It is.

GPS on a suction cup mount on the windshield and phone goes in one of the doodad shelves volvo provided. PO put in a head unit that only has a CD player so no AUX cord for me until I take the plunge and spend money on a new one.
>not having a medium sized desk between the front seats
plebs
>>13864149
But I park from there
>>13861851
That glorious dedicated spot for GPS.
>>13864640
Wat car is that? It looks super familiar.
And is that big flat spot original with the car? Or did somebody have it installed? Even if you didn't keep a GPS, it would be a great little spot to keep a couple things. Like a chocolate bar that melts in the sun and destroys your dash.
>>13864663
not that guy, but most likely an f150
>>13864693
Looks just like it. Thanks.
Now I know why it looks familiar. My brother's Explorer had the same buttons for the stereo. I don't remember if it had that same flat shelf on top though where other anon keeps his GPS.
One of two spots, in the tiny junk-hole behind the handbreak, or in the slot under the stereo, if I'm hooked into the aux.
Took this blurry pic tonight
I have mine on one of those gooseneck cigarette outlet mount holders, not exactly in my line of view, but thats what the gps voice is for
>needing a gps
>not memorizing every road and exit you need to take beforehand
My phone fits in this gap sideways perfectly.
>>13867219
>actually having autism
>>13864703
I remember the first time I rode in that gen Explorer, those door handles fucked with me.
>>13869467
>Being completely fucking useless at navigation
>ever not having your full and un-divided attention on the road
Stay pleb.
