The corporate life ain't so bad. You go home and you aren't tired as shit and you have enough money that you can do something you enjoy with your non-destroyed body. You don't have to get a degree in a subject you don't like. I wouldn't ever recommend that someone train for a job they will hate. Find a job you can tolerate for 8 hours a day and do that, then do what you like with the rest of your time.

I run this website that uses artificial intelligence to try to predict future bitcoin prices (and now, after a major upgrade, eur/usd and aud/usd exchange rates). I will soon be adding more currency pairs as well. The predictions are displayed on simple charts. Starting tomorrow, you'll also be able to see charts showing its performance by showing predicted vs actual prices.

lol, I'm from Belarus (near at russia), but my websites targeted mostly to usa, uk and canada. 9 websites at all. Russian market is really weak now, business don't have money for advertising companies so clicks are very cheap. A lot of russian webmsters lost big part of their income and trying to make websites for wester countries. Luckily for me most of them don't speak english lol.

/biz/, I'm all in. I am 99.3% vested in the market. I sunk my last 8k on 600 share of CMC on Friday. Price was decent, and the dividend Ex date is coming on Jan 14th, so I figured I'd go for it.
I have been buying up various holdings over the past couple months, and they have gone down, which forces me to go long. I'm pretty much in hunker down mode. Collecting sweet dividends until the prices rebound. Over all my portfolio is down about 7% or 3k.
Any thoughts on my stock picks? I know I'm not super well diversified, but I like them. Anyone...

Talk to a lawyer who has experience working for the IRS - there's a few in my area. See what advice he offers. Pending that, maybe get a financial adviser, maybe just put it in my bank account myself and shift it to vanguard or other low-risk investments.

I left the s/urban areas to start a homestead, and as a local company became aware of my old skills they wanted to hire me.
Fastforward, interviews, a bunch of time wasting, they offered me $40 an hour with no benefits.
Which in terms of salary is around a 20% pay cut, and benefits are worth another 20-30% pay cut.

You first need to understand that 100k with full benefits is closer to 130k. $40 an hour with no benefits is 83k. 83/130 = 56%
