How does one get started with creating a system of passive income? Better question, what do YOU do to make money that isn't your primary job? I'm 23, have a little bit of experience with HTML and CSS, and I occasionally have some expendable income to work with, so what can I do to get some additional revenue rolling in? I was considering setting up niche blogs and going for targeted marketing via Amazon & G2A referral linking, but I'm pretty curious to see if /biz/ has some alternatives to this.

Hey anons, which college major is most likely to land a job working from home?
I'm thinking either computer science or mathematics, or both.
But I can't help but feel like I'll make bank by going into Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, with a minor in math.
Just tell me what to major in, my boys. Wanted to into chem but the employment sucks
Computer science is usually bad because Indians can easily do your job. So unless you start for yourself you will have shaky foundations. Electrical, civil and other REAL engineering majors might still be a good idea.

Electrical Engineering, Electronic/Computer Engineering, Civil, basically any mainstream engineering will be fine, higher pay and you can go in to more fields as an engineer than a CS degree.

How much effort goes into a franchise?
I know there's that guy on Reddit who claims he worked 9-5, 6 days a week, but honestly, you shouldn't have to manage the business when you hire a manager.
How much time would you estimate goes into running one or more franchises in the U.S.?
I worked for a franchised Pizza hut ages ago, the owner would stop in like once every few weeks and make sure the store was clean and everything was in order. Other than that I never saw him.

You never really own a franchise, they just agree to pay you more since you bought in.
You're always better off in the long run to just start a competing business yourself

I worked for a taco bell when I was 18 and owner was always there busting his ass with us. He probably worked more than anyone. His taco bell was the most successful in the state and owned other franchises that he put in work at too. Dudes probably got millions at this point considering how much business he owns but he works his ass off for it.

Believe it or not there are some pretty women out there who aren't shallow. But they aren't easy either. Just be the best version of you you can be. Be passionate, knowledgeable, well rounded, level headed, gentlemanly, reliable, considerate and kind and it can actually make up for being less attractive/financially stable. Don't expect to meet her while sitting on your couch though, get out and meet people. It's a number game.
Are you at all attractive? If yes, you don't have to be successful at all, she isn't special.
If not, then you should be probably be fine if you have an extra $2k per month after bills to spend however you want

i have several ETH that i was going to just hold and see what happens with the price over the next 6 months, but having witnessed the LISK open i wondered what might happen when DAO gets distributed.

Supply and demand, its really not that complicated
Be me:
- Currently 1 year after graduation working at nonprofit for $15/hr
- have 2.67 GPA in bachelors of pre health, from top 50 uni
- Want to work as a professional investor (hedge fund/asset management) or corporate finance
- 27K in debt
Ideally Id would like to go back to school for something biz related and get a high enough GPA+ GMAT to get into a top biz program and enter the finance world through there. However I do don’t want to take on any more debt nor do I want to leave the workforce now while still in debt.

Start reading books about business. Start your own, and obtain lots of adderall to help with your low attention span.
You'll be richer than a wageslave and business schools will look at you more favorably than working some shifty job that you'll probably get given your qualifications.
Alternatively look into CFA program and grind your way up as you do it.
