Not really, Canada is a great country.

You could be born in africa.

Even though they promote progressivism to "destroy" western civilization (if it is indeed true) they hold the most conservative values I've ever seen. And they are professionals when it comes to dealing with a client.

poorfag parents anon here. my parents think im a poorfag loser like them. I hide my wealth from them and other relatives. they are all leeches.
I sometimes give them money when they genuinely run into trouble, and i tell them i took a huge loan to bail them out. and they get guilt-tripped and feel sorry for me, and give me money when they have extra. but i love them

hi biz
I have suddenly inherited a large sum of money (life insurance) and I don't know where to invest it
I have absolutely zero training in finance
I go to uni, I live with my mum right now
what's the safest and most profitable investment right now? real estate? gold?
what should I do /biz/?
Index funds
as with many topics, boglehead wiki is a good place to start:

Vanguard S&P 500 ETF, cash some in when you graduate from uni and keep most of it for retirement.
Hey /biz/, I currently work at Home Depot as a stocker, and I am going to be moving soon. The thing is, Home Depot wont move me to full time unless they fire somebody from one of those positions, and I am kind of a workaholic. I am looking for a job that acts kind of like a black hole on your life, pays at least relatively nice, and doesn't require me to have a degree in that field. What jobs fit this description? So far I am thinking about going into construction, or a different company as a stocker. I currently make $11/hour.
Any ideas?
Cryptocurrency trader. No need to know anything about technical analysis. You just watch charts and read forums constantly waiting for the once-per-week big news so you can get in on it first.

are you aussie? go to tafe for anything- you can work as any construction or sparky/plumber for very decent hours in the day. i have plenty more ideas.

Where do I go to find my news? I will consider this.
BEIJING (AP) — A Chinese regulator has ordered Apple Inc. to stop selling two versions of its iPhone 6 in Beijing after finding they look too much like a competitor, but Apple says sales are going ahead while it appeals.
Did Tim Cook get cucked by the Chinese? I can't believe Apple would sink so low as to outright steal IP from the poor Chinese.
Apple Inc.
NASDAQ: AAPL - Jun 17, 7:59 PM EDT
95.33USD Price decrease 2.22 (2.28%)
After-hours: 95.05 Price decrease 0.28 (0.29%)

This has nothing to do with ip. Chinese want real time access to Apples info on every iphone. They won't so China is going to hurt them.
>>1321691
How low will we go?
Apple is a meme, the chinese are now building similar quality phones for 1/4th the price

To never buy a house in any first world nation
So guys would you be willing to join a free nation independant from all others; how difficult do you think it would be to create a real Outer Heaven? Saw engineering guesses that a single functioning FOB platform would run about 10 million dollars. What would be good ways to crowdfund? What are good ways to make money as an independent nation/rogue nation.
how would you even sustain it?

We may be from different countries, but in the USA, studying engineering technology is not the same as studying engineering or leading towards being employed as an engineer

1. Japanese companies don't really care the difference. Not sure about American ones, but this is from my personal experience. At least in my local area its irrelevant as long as its ABET accredited.
2.I can do my EIT exam and then sit for my PE exam after 8 yrs of work exp. This varies state by state and some states don't allow you to do it.
