my brother says you can tell a car is manual transmission just by the sound it makes
totally bullshit?
The sound between gears, sure. Just rolling, in gear or out, no.
Well, you can if the driver is a moron who doesn't know how to use the clutch properly and you can hear the teeth shatter
It's absolutely correct.
By this decree I do declare the scandinavian hooning season of 2015/16 hereby officially opened!
Be strong in your faith to our white fortune, and may easy drifts and soft ditches come your way.

its a shame the sound quality sucks ass though
>>13872063
I no rite? There's something warm and fuzzy about these low definition car reviews shot for public television. Besides the image quality.
I have a few screenshots of John Davis in bad windbreakers I could drop.

Thoughts on this?

Yep, it's a car.

/o/, I...
T-thanks
General build quality; meh
General interior feel; plasticky and cheap as fuck
General design feel; its an Opel
The X20 i4 fits surprisingly well into a Kadett C tho, so I guess that it does have some use
Do these headlight restoration kits really work or are they just a meme? Anyone ever use one? Tips?
>>13871853
They work. I've never used on any of my vehicles since I've never owned a car with plastic headlights for more than 2 weeks.
They work perfectly fine
>>13871853
Don't know about that shit specifically, but it's really easy
>Wet sand headlight until smooth
>Add sealant/clear-coat type shit to make it clear
Sup scrubs?
Best looking wheels for an Acura Integra? Picked up one dirt cheap and I'm about to make me a turbo sleeper errand car.
Get ESM or XXR, some cheap bullshit that will look #tyte
>>13871807
>Integra
>shitty C6 with some gay ass wing
>nigger tier garbage house
poorfag beta loser detected
So you going to fuck another good car with shit tier taste like that wing.
In that case use TE37's or CE28 or what ever the fuck else in the in thing to have from Work Wheels or Volk.
Find me a classier/timeless sedan than the Toyota Cresta.

i didnt realize datsun still makes vehicles
>>13871705
Why would they create something like this?
>>13871705
They brought back the Datsun nameplate to sell cars in developing markets.
IIRC, Datsun is only sold in India

There are the same people who if their child becomes a successful doctor, tells their child to get something flashy like something from 2 Fast 2 Furious.

focus owners confirmed for giving rim jobs with confidence
>>13871444
Tire + rim = wheels
wheel - tire = rim
wheel - rim = tire

Car Talk is awesome. I wish they could still make new episodes.
I always bring some car talk cds with me on long road trips. I miss them.

Just don't drive like my brother.
Hey guys
Just got a 2012 Camry SE, I want it to be a sleeper. Nothing crazy but also want to upgrade some things.
Ordered a strut bar last night and was looking into new headers and intakes. Any suggestions? Anything I should or shouldn't do to it? I'm not interested in doing anything to the body except maybe some amber fog lights.
pic related, same car and color
A car is designed around a specific purpose. A camry was not designed to take modding and push high performance. It's an econobox so unless you have deep pockets your going to struggle.
Aftermarket is near on non exsistent and you will be doing a lot of things in the dark/fabbing up your own stuff.
By your car choice I would say you lack the basic skills.
TLDR; should of bought something else if you wanted to go sanic m9

Should cars ever be modified?
To increase performance and comfort. Yes.
No one wants to buy a modified car though.
>>13871114
This.
Visual mods that add nothing to the performance of the vehicle are pointless as hell. Every visual mod has been done to hell and back a thousand times. You think you're unique and the only person with some tacky ass wheels, tinted lights and a de-badge job.
tldr: Stop wasting money on stupid visual mods and put it towards performance, #sleepers4lyfe

is a 1990 miata that bad if you plan on engine swapping it down the road?
there's a silver barn find going for $1600 near me

Nope not bad at all. The 1.6 SNC will last as long as it's long nose counterpart so long as it's inspected regularly (if pulley starts to wobble do the loctite fix) and if the timing belt is installed correctly.
