>get banned
>dumb mods delete ALL of your posts including those that didn't break any rules
Can mods stop doing this fucking bullshit? It's really infuriating and stupid,
>mass post deletion
Judging by the OP image, I'm guessing nothing of value was lost.
Yeah, it happens. They've done it to me on a few occassions. Try to not get banned in the future if you don't want it to happen again.
>>591171
it's not like it REALLY matters if your posts get deleted. And it's probably really convenient for dealing with the spammers who ban evade and flood the board. Plus there's probably a fair chance other comments were rule breaking but haven't been reported.
However it was pretty confusing once when I got some weird glitchy ban. I saw all my posts disappear.
I tried to report something and was told I can't do that because I was banned for CP or something, but I could still post...

Why does this page still exist?
>>590992
no reason to remove it
>>590994
It contains inaccurate info though. Should at the very least be updated.
Specifically, it says to email moot (the site's admin, per the page) if you have any issues.
>>590992
Actually kind of handy. Hiro can finally understand his site.
Nominate boards/users/posts/etc. for the following categories. Once enough nominees are made for each category, the voting process will begin.
The nomination cutoff date is July 14th, 2015. Anything past that date can be nominated.
• Best board
• Most improved board
• Best new board
• Best moderator
• Best thread
• Best comment
• Best "get"
• Best OC (image/gif/webm etc.)
• Best new meme
I'd like to nominate
>Best moderator

But it seems I'm exactly a year too late!
>The nomination cutoff date is July 14th, 2015
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice should win everything.
>>590959
Yes it is unfortunate but we have to have a cutoff date otherwise there would be total anarchy! Haha
What was his endgame?
>he thinks moot had any kind of plan or endgame
His endgame was for a site for cool people (per his 14-year-old self's definition of that) to talk about anime and whatever other amusing things Japanese or otherwise. The naming of the original boards was for their Japanese counterparts, for example /k/ is short for "keisatsu", the nip word for weapon.
His endgame was for a nerdy quirky Japanese flavored place. That's all. Meme hubs, politics, real-life movements etc were never remotely in the picture when he started...

To take it easy.
Can't have that with /pol/turds swarming on so many boards.
Does any one else think he still posts? Also how did he trick Google into giving him a job he never coded shit and dropped out of college.
Remove the robot from /r9k/, it serves literally no purpose.
>>590889
No way. It gives me something to laugh at when people like you post threads like this!
Thanks, by the way.
>>590889
it takes literally no effort to write an original post

I'm developing a fantasy 4chan stock exchange codenamed Meme Exchange (memex) for now.
The idea is that you create an account and you get given 1000 fake dollars. You can use this to invest in boards and potentially memes.
I will have scripts running on the server analyzing each board every hour and automatically assigning value to the stocks based on a long list of factors including but not limited to: number of threads per hour, posts per hour, number of posters per thread, average thread lifetime, and so on and so on. It will obviously also be effected...

What about image md5's? Some memes don't have text
What about smug anime faces as well
I don't think image md5s would be reliable enough since resizing or re-encoding the image would change the hash. A lot of sites will convert user-uploaded images to lower quality to save on disk space / network traffic.
I'd recommend looking into natural language processing libraries to do semantic analysis of post text and color analysis for image recognition.

Have you checked out the statistics on archive sites? They could work well as a way to represent stock prices.

why is /a/ so rude?
>>590606
Personal insecurity and a fear of being seen as a vulnerable target for the hivemind to turn against them.
rude?
id rather them being rude than a shithole
Because /a/ is not your personal hugbox.
When will the mods start tackling shitters like this?

>>590566
Please clarify. Are you annoyed that the reaction images are not video game material, or is it the format of "reaction image and video game trope" in general?
I've spent a good amount of time on 4chan and I can confirm, without a doubt, that /sp/ is by far the snobbiest board on this website. It is almost reddit-tier smug cancer.
I'm not sure if our definitions of "snobby" differ in some way, but I think most people would state that /a/ claims the title of "snobbiest board"
>>590551
That's not /mu/ and /a/
Why can't you start a thread without text anymore?

Hirohito, pls.
There have been many venezuelan posters that beg for donations, and many anons had fallen victims of this scamming pieces of shit. Who knows if they use proxys.
The most an anon got shafted with was 200 dollars.
If venezuela isn't banned sitewide, the threads of beggars will only increase. Also it is against the rules after all.
It may be one anon that really is sincere like >>>/pol/80891481, but it...
