Hey /o/. Did this thread yesterday and got a few replies and im fishing again. I'm looking into running an engine off drip gas. A generator first followed by a car or truck if possible Its natural gas condensate or natural gasoline. Usually around 40-60 octane which is the real problem.
The way i see it I have a few ways of utilizing it.
1. low compression engine. Smallest I have seen is 6:1. I think 4:1 might do it fine.
2. alter an engine to make it a smaller ratio
3. Use it to make black diesel from motor oil and run a diesel on it.

I've decided on what car I want to get, but I found two options and I'm trying to figure out which is 'better'. Both are Mazda 3's, 60k miles, same trim etc etc. Only difference is one is a 2012 and the other is a 2014. According to KBB the 2014 is a better deal based on the price, however I don't like the newest body style as much. The 2012 is a fair price, and I like the appearance a lot more, but it seems odd to pass up a better deal on a newer car. Should I just get the 2014? Or does it make sense to get a car I like more even...

I have that same pathfinder, 1998 4x4 and same color. I love it, best vehicle I've owned. Gas mileage isn't great and it doesn't have much power but everything else is awesome.
4x4 is not a meme, shit works well. I have taken it wheeling with local jeep club and they always smirk in the morning but by the end of the day i get nothing but compliments on how well it did. a locker in the rear would make it better, but a little speed and you'll get through most shit.

Yes, you would look fucking stupid. Most classic cars would have them in friction linings (think brake pads and clutch discs) and gaskets. The best way to avoid exposure is by simply wetting it down/washing it off and wearing a respirator with P100 filters (Magenta HEPA particulate).
