Thoughts on the Chiron? I like it a lot more than it's predecessor, but still wonder how a car like that weighs 4400lbs when an average full size 5 passenger family sedan, with 4 doors, made out of steel weighs 3,300lbs. Still it's a very impressive car.

Well to be fair I can't afford many of the cars that are featured on /o/, or in any automotive publication, but I'm still interested in them.
Theoretically speaking, if I were to plug in a block heater every time I parked my car at home, would I be reducing the wear on the engine from cold start-ups, even in a warm area?

Yes. I do it for like 8 months at a time. During the warmer periods it will be a negatable difference so I would just spend more in power than its worth

Driven a few. First gens are pretty funky and not that great but look cool. Later ones are great cars. They aren't super hard to drive or deadly, just a reputation from the early ones since nobody was making cars like that in the early 90s, it's just a powerful car, don't be a retard. I know someone that DDs a 2010 convertible and it's been good to him maintenancewise.
I'd love to own an original since it has nothing stopping you from killing yourself if you don't know what you're doing

The real problem with buying a turbo kit is making sure the turbo manifold, intake manifold, and downpipe are strong, right? If I make my own pipes and manifold, and just use this kit for the turbo and intercooler piping, what am I going to risk?
I doesn't seem like I'd be getting any parts that were really running the risk of a failure other than the ebay turbo,...

Hey guys, I recently bought a used bmw x5 2002
The car comes with a "Business CD player". Whenever I buy a music CD from a store it works perfectly. However, CDs that I custom record at a music shop do not work. Why is that? I have tried burning cds in both AUDIO and MP3 format and both dont work. I dont understand why this isnt happening. I use to burn my own cds and play them on my old car (Mercedes C class) just fine. Why is this happening? How can I fix this issue?
