What's next for him?
hell be fine

I'm eternally grateful for his website.
I hope he lives a long and happy life.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart, Christopher Poole.
>Humanities and History
>Sociology and Polisci threads get deleted.
Why? They are like two of the major Humanities disciplines.
Polsci belongs on /pol/. What soc thread got hit?
>>407728
it's been getting a little better latey
What's hiro's email? Does he have one?
I want to talk about an ad campaign but [email protected] is ded
>>407635
nobody knows
post it here if you find it
>no way to email the admin of 4chan
>no way to email the mods of 4chan
I guess everything is through IRC
>>407780
>ban this
>unban that
What a fucking waste of time for a website that was never about listening to its users or ever humored user democracy.
the fuck is this shit
>>407569
It's some character from that gay-ass webcomic they like on tumblr.
"Trigger warning" is a shitty-ass meme they like on tumblr.
And then it says "4chan" which is a [cannot insult due to global rule] website they like on tumblr.
>>407569
Kankri Vantas, a character from Homestuck who's meant to be a parody of a tumblr sjw
A banner.
How is this acceptable?
mods can ban you for any reason or no reason on /b/, it's in the rules fám.
Why does /a/ ban Naruto threads on sight? You don't see /tv/ banning Big Bang Theory threads. You don't see /v/ banning Call of Duty threads. The community just simply ignores them and they die fairly quickly. I would have thought that /a/ would be far more mature about these sorts of things than /v/ or /tv/ (arguably the two most immature boards on the site).
>muh self moderation and board culture
but seriously, who the fuck comes to 4chan to discuss shit like that anyway? I kind of agree with them
I don't see /tv/ MAKING Big Bang threads.
>>407370
That's because people know that they never get any replies. If it was /a/, these threads would be filled with people giving them attention.
>all these mad leftcucks wanting to delete /pol/
>>407086
>thinking everything is a left-right issue
>all these nerrds making threads just so they can reply to themselves
>>407086
this is why i love to visit /qa/. all these mad libcuck/redditors make me laugh
>waifu threads are deleted/autosaged automatically on /v/
>husbando threads are never messed with
If this isn't proof that /v/'s mods are massive SJW fags then I don't know what it is.
>>407051
As a straight cisgendered white male in my twenties, I find waifu threads annoying and husbando threads really funny. It's fun to pretend to be a woman and/or gay sometimes. Waifu threads used to be fun until we had the 5,000,000th one and now they're old and boring. Husbando threads are only on thread 3,600 or so. They aren't boring to me yet.
That's just one opinion, though.
Why do you need threads about your waifus? What does it do for you? Validate something deep inside?
>>407051
Try being on /tv/.
>>407051
You got something mixed up there, buddy? Threads that just start with "Lucina is CUUUUUUTE!" reach bump limit even though they're just straight up porn dumps, while husbando threads get deleted immediately.
Be honest... how many of you have reddit accounts?
I do. Can't really get around it when some companies use it exclusively for their feedback communities.
Yeah I made one long ago but I literally forgot about it for years
have one from when I was playing around with CSS on a dead sub I took over but I haven't touched it in years now
How do you respond when asked if you browse 4chan IRL?
>>406724
Literally no one has ever asked me that.
>>406724
Say "of course". Anyone privy to the internet in 2016 knows that 4chan is worth browsing depending on the subject.
>>406730
This, even if they did I'd probably just pretend I've never heard of it.
What is your honest, unfiltered opinion on anime?
Not anime posters or culture, just anime.
good
I really like a lot of it and consider it art the same way I consider certain western live action shows art
However I have never seen a western animated show I thought could be called art
Most anime is just fun with not substance though, which I still enjoy
Commercial garbage by Japan.
But even if it wasn't commercial trash then Japan wouldn't know how to write an original, charming, intelligent cartoon.
Because Japan is autistic.
Is 4chan beyond saving? Is it even worth saving anymore?
>>406438
The weirder it gets the more captivating I find it.
A few years ago I saw 4chan going downhill, so I started browsing Reddit. After getting used to the site I found some communities were decent enough but by large they're all shit. Good porn site though, but /r/watchitfortheplot might as well be /r/watchitforthereposts. All the communities I browsed turned to shit, partially because they were smaller and my crossboarder shitposting was starting to become acceptable. 4chan wasn't getting better, either, and by now it was my only site. NeoGAF banned me within hours of my first post making a joke about the moderation team being well-known pedophiles.
What else do I have?
What websites are there that I can browse for mecha, anime, and weeb games?
>>406451
>making a joke about the moderation team being well-known pedophiles.
To be fair, you could get banned for saying that here too. And they wouldn't be wrong to think someone making stupid jokes like that is a mostly useless contributor to the website.
Why the fuck does every board use /v/ as their personal toilet? You see memes from /a/, /tv/, /int/, /pol/, /r9k/, yet all these boards claim to hate /v/ with a passion (despite the fact that they're greatly contributing towards its shittiness).
>>406278
I guess you don't go to other boards but this happens on all the most popular ones.
It's called crossposting.
>>406278
Because of tie-in video games.
/a/, /tv/, /int/, /pol/, /r9k/ are all shit too. They can't live without /v/ because it's the only board that makes their own boards look good.
Is there any way to ban a community or general when said community or general spreads cancer and damages the integrity of a board?
I really like electronic music but can't discuss it on /bleep/ because the people there post ironic memes and are generally retarded, likewise every time I post the music I like on /mu/ I get associated with /bleep/ and treated for a /bleep/ posted and told to fuck off back to my containment general.
Can something be done about this? Can /bleep/ and /bleep/ posters be banned?
i seen that money make a bitch evil.
this shit gettin colossal.
the hokage of Berghain in this bitch
I don't know if /qa/ is anything more than a secret hideout for you fags, but the board I love is dying.
No idea what caused it, or why it's spread so much but the amount of men's rights/MGTOW shitposting on /out/ is getting out of hand, it's getting as bad as /r9k/ now. The mods on /out/ have always been lax/non-existent but we need some chemo.
pls do something
pls
>>406228
/out/ isn't my main board but I'll lurk there from time to time, I like to hike and camp out in the fall. Its a good board, so bump.
Filter it. I remember some autist on /adv/ would samefag the same mgtow thread every week, but it only really died when people stopped giving him an excuse to bump it.
>>406244
That's the clincher, these faggots only seem to fuck up existing threads. We get the odd obvious bait thread but since /out/ is so slow they hang around for weeks.
