Do what makes you happy and do what you need to do to make it happen
But before you go out and get a low paying job to buy an E30 while you're in school, consider doing internships during your summers. There are no entry level jobs; everyone wants experience. Just some advice from a recent grad with no job

Why does /o/ hate the Genesis Coupé?
In times of hardcore downsizing it's probably the cheapest, decent-looking, used n/a-V6 money can buy, starting at 12k dollaridoos for cars with 30k miles here in Germany.
Didn't Kia built the Lotus Elan too?

I think they're okay cars. I really like the Veloster, too.
Leave this thread now, or face the hordes of faggots saying "le penis windows."
What are the most popular cars in your country or state, /o/?
Portugal here, almost every street around Lisbon has either a Citroën C3 and/or a diesel 80s Benzie.
>>14656811
Ayy. I'm vacationing here in Portugal. I see those all over the place.
I think Mercedes are giving these away, there's so fucking many of them around.
A metric fuckton of Nissan V16 (Sentra B13). We got them from Mexico for almost two decades, and it's by far the most common car in the whole country.
A bunch of taxis are this model. Also, they are the cheapest cars to fix, own and register. It's essentially babby's first car, taxi, JDM as fuck mobile, shitbox and commuter. Owners go from 18 years old to 99.

Hey /o/. Thinking of getting one of these soon. Anyone want to tell me why it's shit or have any other suggestions?
What I'm looking for:
Under $15k
Comfy
Not too slow
Hatch/wagon
Manual
Decent amount of room for stuff.

So I was on the Internet, and I found this: http://3dprint.com/118388/3d-printed-v8-solenoid-engine/
And I thought to myself, "This is how we get /o/ to like electric cars."
No.

Instead of solenoids, I want rail guns, so jets of plasma and engine bits fly out the tailpipe.
What's the difference between these?
One is a lifted 2, the other is a lifted 3.

Size, hp, price. CX-3 is based on the Mazda2, while the CX-5 is based on the Mazda3. Can't get the 2.5L in the CX-3.
Is there any reason to get the CX3 when it's less than 2k cheaper?
How much HP can a V6 Mustang take before needing an upgrade? Thinking of supercharging mine.

You really should have just got the V8 outright
>>14655464
I couldn't afford it at the time of purchase.

Goddamn you actually are a fucking idiot. I bet you bought it new and it's an auto as well.

Tossing up between an e36 and a miats. What get? Pros and cons? About all I can come up with:
E36:
Practical(er)
Power (depending on engine)
Miats:
JDM
Better handling
Helps please.
do you have a DD already?
if not i'd say get the E36
if you do, well i personally don't like the E36 too much so i'd say the MX-5
>>14654561
Wow, talk about being unhelpful!
Not, it would be my DD, but I could always just drive my brothers car if I need practicality, so it's not that big a deal!
The E36 is better in almost every aspect but cost. It will go down to which kind of car you like the most OP, they are very different cars.
Why isn't there a youtube show yet that's basically MightyCarMods + Top Gear Challenges?
Imagine - 3 people have to buy different cheap-ass cars in different categories in each episode, modify them based on limited info about what the road trip/challenges will be, and then proceed to see whose car fares the best. The challenges will generally defeat the purpose of the cars.
Preferably set in USA

pretty sure that motor trend one is like that.
also, what your describing requires a lot of planing, multiple camera rigs, personal to film everything, etc.
top gear does one of these per season, and they have millions to spend.
>>14654303
Because there aren't a lot of people that like cars, and of the few people who do like cars, only a few of them work on their own cars and would be interested in watching other people work on cars.

Majority of people my age (20s) think cars are cool when a super car drives by, but could hardly name most cars on the road let alone ID whats in their engine bay.
Anyone had any luck drifting a auto 350z?
>Inb4 should have gotten a manual.
I can kind of do it, but it is feeble. There aren't too many resources on how to drift with auto, even though I've seen people do it well. There are even fewer resources on how to do it with a 350z
>>14653786
>resources
Nigga the only way youre going to drift with an auto in that turd is with alot of practice
Pony the fuck up and go learn, theres no how to manual for that
If it has the same transmission as auto g35s you can easily force it in the manumatic mode and force it down gears. hell you could probably do it in just drive, but you suck lol
>>14653794
Any guidelines?
What does /o/ think of the possibility of a new Mercedes pickup truck? Their newer commercial vehicles like the metris have been decent so far

I could actually see those being a big hit in Orange County, otherwise I really don't see who the market is.
