If they're first in line they're actually doing the right thing and making sure to trip the weight sensor.
MY FUCKING GRANDPA
>be me

Actually, fuck the greentext story. He was driving me and nana back home from a diner, and we came to a 4-way. He ignores the stop sign and blows RIGHT THROUGH the intersection while taking a LEFT TURN when there is ONCOMING TRAFFIC. We barely missed a fucking DODGE RAM, maybe by a foot or so. Old fucks' excuse? He saw a green light. AT A STOP SIGN.
Hardly his first offense, he makes one or five every time I drive with him, but that was his worst. I'm just...

Hello, I am in the US Army stationed in JBSA Fort Sam Houston Texas and I have come pretty close to saving up enough cash for a car. (5-6K price but I can also throw in my 3kish bonus if I want). I NEED a car since I'm going to be reserve, and was wondering if it's a good idea to buy a MANUAL V8 Camaro of the generation in the picture (the one before they cut them). Maybe even with a Corvette engine. I guess what I'm asking is, opinions on the car? Sportiness, reliability, handling, parts/maintenance/insurance cost, interior, overall quality, how easy it is to...

I own, built, and drive daily an 86 Camaro.
I had another one but it was totalled. So Ive tested every practical aspect and I think theyre great cars.
You can find them cheap (like 2-3 grand) and for that theyre usually running projects. But they require TONS of attention to maintain. Unless you strip it all down and restore it, or buy one someone else worked hard to build and sadly sell to you for 9-10k. Then obviously money isn't a thing to you and you take half the fun out of it anyway.
However, once you build it...

well, raping Honda Civics up the tailpipe IS definitely what I'm going to do with it without a doubt. But can you explain in what aspects do they require the most attention? And what should I check for when buying pre owned?
>>14180638
Well at this point they're all pre-owned lol.
What you want to look for is one with a good body. The usual spots are in the wheel wells/strut towers, rockers and floor pans. You can throw a motor and trans in there worth more than the car.
They're nice money pits, with not a whole lot of return in investment. But that's lots of cars. They're fun like I said but I spent thousands of hours tearing these old cars up. As well as thousands of dollars. It's a trade off. If you have time...

A fast car with reasonably predictable handling and the potential for repair bills that would cripple some states.
this is my car straight piped and idk what all the hype is. it doesn't sound good on mine, anybody have videos of a car sounding good with NO CAT NO MUFFLER?

Is it a v8? I have an LT1 with LT headers and ORY and sounds berty gud, loud as shit though
>>14226796
Nah I4 lol
So if i was going to mount two engines to a single crankshaft, how would i do this?
Crankshafts don't have space between two sets of connecting rods for the engine blocks so would it be sufficient to just remove the flywheel from one side and weld it to the shaft of the other engine?
Apologies for my poor explanation.
>>14224364
Clutch between the two engines.
>>14224367
>Clutch between the two engines.
That's not optimal.
>Place engines in-line, connect rear of crankshaft to front of other crankshaft

Lightweight battery, lightweight performance exhaust, lightweight wheels, spare tire delete, get rid of floor mats.
But that's not enough. Get some more power.

You lucky bastard. I was celebrating yesterday because regular is down to $2.35.
And why is it a V6 Twin Turbo?
There is none, because different engines do different things. You'd respect a giant-ass ship engine for different things than an S2000's engine.

Hello guys I am here to tell you that the Subaru STI Hatch is indeed the best car in the world. If you have ~25k to spend on a car this is the only car you should be looking for. And here is why,
Pros:
1. AWD, the most superior drive. You can take this car through any terrain and have incredible handling all while saving money on insurance as it is seen as a saftey feature.
2. Can sit 5 people and tons of cargo space.
3. Very reliable
4. Extremely quick stock and makes tons more power very cheaply. Runs with super cars for a fraction of the price.
5....
