Why does BMW inspire so much controversy amongst all the brands?
>>14828304
Because they truly suck but people with their heads up their ass keep insisting they don't.
>>14828304
They attract the biggest cunts on the road. I mean it's not really their fault but they do get the wrap for it though.
Part jealousy for being a luxury brand, part disdain for attracting so many asshole drivers, part humor for having a poor reputation when it comes to reliability.
They're a pretty polarizing brand. Either love it or hate the people who drive it.
Their bikes are cool though.
What are some mad/stupid/hektik things you've done lately?
>approaching town in the middle of nowhere

I bought an automatic.
>yuropoors in their chaguars can't get to our level.
>>14827436
Yuropoors are jealous of American V8s because it reminds them what real men drive. The U.K. is full of slow as kars and gaytards.
Jag V6 sounds better than the Hemi V8
> American cars
FUCKING LMAO
You can't make this shit up
>Buick Verano Turbo

Could and should I make a sleeper out of one of these?

>>14841795
There's a lot of aftermarket for these little Ecotecs.
The manual has relatively poor shifter feel, however.
Yeah, you could make this thing pretty sleeperish.
>>14841795
Astra OPC/VXR parts might fit.
This fell off my ford ranger today, can't figure out what it is..Im thinking maybe a fender clamp or something. Any ideas?
>>14841635
>parts falling off a Ford
This is normal. Chuck in in the pile of other broken parts (the back of the truck)
>>14841635
I wouldn't worry about it.
>>14841654
Not worried at all, just wanna know what it is.
How does /o/ feel about the EcoBoost Flex?

a poor soccer mom's Range Rover.
Trying to change rear wheel bearing in 1991 CRX, and this happened. What do?
Clean off the hub and install new bearing.
>>14841326
The inner piece of old bearing is stuck on
If you have acces to a cut off wheel then cut a diagonal groove across the inner race that is stuck on. Be careful not to cut into the spindle. Then put a chisel in the groove and give it a couple good wacked with a hammer. Should split the inner race and slide off.
Alternatively remove brake shoes and use a chisel to hit between inner race and brake backing plate. May need to use 2 chisels on opposite sides to force inner race out.
If you nick the spindle just sand it smooth so you wont get hung up while installing new bearin.
What's the best hardtop convertible (you press a button to slide up and down the top) under 10000€?
Still can't find anything that beats the SLK230K.
The Miata: Looks too small and has this "GoKart" type of vibe. It's just too tiny for me to plus it's not powerful enough.
The rest of the options are too expensive.
Someone suggested other options like VW Eos but those look damn boring.
A good candidate was the Chrysler Crossfire but I don't like the aesthetics.
Overall the 230K seems like the best...

Mazdaspeed miata plus an aftermarket hardtop.
>>14840884
just buy the damn car and stop making these threads. weve already concluded you have a phobia of soft tops and are too poor to get any hardtop vert besides this.
>>14841105
Who the fuck wants a soft top?
Cars before 1975 thread. I don't want to smog my car any more (Should I get that?)

Why do people need such strong computers when all they need is a pentium to browse internet?
>>14826804
I live in a rural area and the cops don't give a fuck
Why do we need cars when bicycles, horses or walking works just as well?
What is a good AMERICAN car for me to buy brand new? Right now I'm driving an 08 Pontiac but want to upgrade. Nothing too expensive, something fairly normie tier. I absolutely refuse to drive some weaboo gook zipperhead piece of shit that has gotten so popular.

Quit being a Jew and buy a German car

Fiesta ST and the Camaro 1LT are both great and affordable drivers cars, though the visibility is decent in neither. Mustang GT if you can afford to live with a V8.
Scores of women have reported assaults by Uber drivers... Now Jenni Avins reports at Quartz that a ride-sharing service that only uses women as drivers, Chariot for Women, is set to launch April 19 in Boston, featuring more stringent background checks and additional steps to ensure riders correctly match with their drivers.... "[U]nlike other services, Chariot for Women features a patent-pending technology that will provide both users and drivers with a code after a request is made that will need to be verified upon starting the ride," reports Glamour. But "whether...

Their insurance must be enormous.
Read about it; they are literally breaking so many equal treatment laws.

Will be dead within a month from lawsuits. Even if they could win (which they couldn't) the amount of money legal costs would soak up in just trying to defend it would be astronomical
Also:
>Adding that the service would also pick up children under 13 regardless of gender, as well as transwomen, Pelletz said he would welcome the legal challenge.
Why do people steer like this?
I've been watching BMW M2 videos, and previously Camaro/Mustang videos and a lot of the younger people who get their hands on these test cars absolutely refuse to let go of the side slats of the wheel. Why? Is this a track driving technique or are they just retarded?
>>14836486
You should never ever cross your arms, be it at the track or the street.
What the fuck
