This only ever happens with darker images, picture is a screencap from withing "image data converter"
I just started shooting in raw with my a6000, 99% of the time everything converts just fine after edits, but like the fuck is up with the super grain? and then that off fucking border around the image.
The "go to photoshop" button does the exact same fucking thing. This is driving me up a fucking wall.
>1/100 100ISO >50mm f1.7 "vintage" lens
ignore the image, was just trying to annoy faggots in a watch thread over at /g/
>>2764685 Use Lightroom and ditch that shit ass camera. Did you buy it used? I assume you did and it has serious electronics issue. Get a refund if possible or send it in for repair. Probably cheaper to buy a new one.
>>2764702 what someone told me to use to convert sony raws
>>2764694 i've got 2 A6000s brand new and this "issue" only happens when i take raw photos in dimly lit areas
The photo taken above, looks perfect and crisp on my camera, litearlly no gain what so fucking ever either.
I guess it's just an issue with the software i used, ill go pirate lightroom.
Shitty pic related, took this at a ren fair last weekend, notice how besides the fact i derped the focus, the quality of the image is good.
Must be this shitty software i'm using.
>shit ass camera. i love this meme helped a friend shoot a weeding a couple weeks ago, my sony and his fullframe cannon were spitting out equal quality photos, sorry my $600 camera runs as well as your $2500 camera.
The only issues i've had with these cameras is the fact photoshop doesnt support sony raw files, well nothing really enjoys supporting sony raw files.
This is probably the wrong place to post this, but maybe someone can help.
I recently found an old video camera of mine (pic related) and I want to eject the video cassette that is in it. The cassette will not eject without a battery. I found the battery for it, but no charger. Am I out of luck until I find the charger? Or is there another way to get the cassette out of the camera without damaging it?
Hi /p/, I feel like this is the best place to ask this. I'm on a college budget, so I don't exactly have money for a dedicated camera, so my Galaxy s5 serves that purpose. I have a little disposable cash and I'd like to purchase a mobile instant printer. Do any of you have experience with the Fujifilm Instax, Polaroid Zip, or the Canon Selphie printers? The price of the printer itself doesnt concern me all that much, I'd just like to know what has the best picture quality and most cost effective paper cartridges. Any advice?
>>2762317 Like I said, I'm taking pictures on a phone, so I can't expect the kind of quality a lot of you actual photographers get with woth your prints. I'd just like to know the best based off of the quality it can get, compared with its convenience. The Selphy for example has to be plugged in and weighs twice as much as the other two I mentioned, but if the quality is significantly better, I might consider it. I'm not limited to these three either, they just seem the best out of what I've found.
Let's say I want to be able to move freely through police cordons during demonstrations and riots. If I get myself a - professional looking camera with a huge lens and petal hood - orange reflective vest that reads "PRESS" - and a fake press pass (pic related) is it gonna work? Will the police let me through?
There's no such thing as a real press card anymore, because of exactly what you're describing doing. The way to get through a cordon is to be real press and work the beat long enough that the cops there know and like you.
It's fine. I think the crane going up through the middle of the photo blends in with the edge of the tall building, making it hard to tell what your subject is between the two. I think I would have stepped to the left as much as possible for the shot, but clearly you're on a roof so who knows if that was possible.

I am thinking about getting the q7. Are there other cameras you could recommend anon? I would appreciate it. I would just like a nice pocket camera that has good lenses. Megapixels don't matter for me though unless they are below 10.
I have the original Q, and it's pretty sweet. Poor low light performance, but a decent C-mount lens helps a lot with that, and the Q7 has a slightly bigger sensor. Plus the crop factor is nice, makes a 50mm lens have a decent range in a small form factor.
I have canon 700d, and I get this outcome with all the lenses I have (18-55, 75-300 canon and 50mm 1.8) FUCKING AQUAMARINE SKY AND ORANGE TINTED REST OF THE PICTURE WHY DOES IT KEEP HAPPENING? Is there some option in the menu which makes it like that? Or should I just throw my camera in the trash previously I had 350d and while it was producing worse images quality wise in general, I never had any problems with the colours
>>2763739 I've always wondered - in modern xray machines giving digital files as output - what's the sensor? It used to be xray film and that makes sense for xrays of large body parts - it has to be large. Do they really make ccd-like sensors the size of a human chest nowadays?
