porque no los dos? i have an x100s for discrete, portable shooting and a d810 for serious tripod work.
the iq boost is real, but it comes with the serious compromise of portability and overall "fun-ness" of shooting. You could go with a used A7, but the battery life and overall kludgy feel (especially coming from fuji) is an issue.
look at all that wasted light on the crop sensor. global warming.

I'm looking to start up my own company but I've been trying to find engineers that create camera and they are very hard to find.
I've been suggested to go to camera companies such as Canon or Nixon and ask but why would they give me their engineers?

You can get the thousands of engeneers that wish they could have worked for Canon or Nikon, but they can only hire 20 people or whatever, so you can get to the ones who want to work on cameras, and find the ones who are willing to take a chance on a guy who visits /p/ and his great ideas...
the problem is going to be startup capital though. The stuff inside a camera is pretty expensive to make, and only made manageable by economies of scale.

because youre a retard.
try cutting the anterior edges of the film in a 45° angle. make sure to only cut a small part away and do NOT cut into the sprockets. It's a little hard to do in the dark, but you get used to it.
Because you're bad at it and plastic reels are trash. Buy a stainless Hewes reel and practice with it a few times and that will fix both issues.

So I'm making a website and for some reason I have a pretty big attachment to these set of images. I would love to include the set on my website but would like to get some opinions about it as a whole as well as the image order (which I think is very important). The basic concept is the passing of summer. The set will be named Dog Days. So yeah, comments/crit encouraged. If you think it sucks tell me why or don't bother commenting. long time lurker here, I occasionally post a photo or two in threads but mostly just read and attempt to learn, amidst the gear threads, shitposting, and noise.
I have an honest question for the amateur/pro photographers - it seems there is a fair amount of hate for any sort of borders on photos - and not just the cheesy VSCO or Instagram type borders. Is it artistically "better" to leave off any sort of border whatsoever with your photos?
Question two - watermarks. I would think it would be better to protect your images, even though anyone halfway adept with photoshop can remove them. But is it an unpardonable sin to use watermarks to protect your images online? just a basic "copyright 2015, photographer name" is all I am thinking of, not some big logo or cheesy byline.

Watermarks are an acknowledgment that you think your photos are good enough to be stolen. Until someone actually steals your photo, don't worry about it.

1. I hate borders, for many reasons, but do whatever you feel.
2. You probably just answered your own question. I think it detracts from the image and anybody who will steal it will either crop it out or edit it out. Maybe if it is shared without attribution and not edited/cropped out, but I've only looked up those photographers to make fun of them.
Another way to look at is if any of the photographers you like do this stuff?
