Having more human characters would be great but then you run the risk of making the cast way too big. It's a bit much to ask for 4 human characters and 4 seraphs.
I've always enjoyed JRPGs that keep the number of cast members down because I really don't like having 2-3 characters sitting in my menu never really being used, having just Sorey and Rose didn't really bother me.

at the game, and everything above bronze is purely cosmetic You can easily craft them by trading up the dozens of crap lead cards you get
