Yeah, I just don't want them to leave the work all up to modders and just give us MECs as official content. But at the same time I struggle to imagine what one could add as soldier customization beyond what already was in Enemy Within and the aforementioned psionics class hybrids. Except the latter would involve rebuilding already finished content from scratch, something Firaxis very rarely does.
