Are there any detailed guides for Settlements I can read?
How do you get large amounts of mechanical materials outside of physical collecting? I have all my settlements attached to a single focal point but I'm not seeing any supplies or more materials in the Workbench.
Also, how do you get more Settlers even with a beacon? I wanted Sanctuary to be my main base of operation. All the smaller settlements are connected to only Sanctuary and for the most part the four, five settlements have Settler Beacons too but they've only ever brought in one or two settlers and they don't go to Sanctuary, they go to the settlements with those beacons.

I thinka certain pony fallout crossoverhad a really good representation of raiders, who were basically just a seperate faction, albeit pretty much no rules. Raider towns had even set up trade routes between unaffiliated towns and had used the slave trade to become a real economic powerhouse in the wasteland, to the point where taking out raider nests is generally frowned upon because it hurts the economy.

One of the loading screens explicitly says they're loosely affiliated with each other, and one of the Gunner bosses refers to the raiders in a sense that implies they're a cohesive group when he talks to Tess. Of course, there's also terminal entries where they're either standoffish or directly opposed to one another. Like much of its lore, Fallout 4 contradicts itself on this.
