Grim Dawn is an ARPG made by a few left over developers from Iron Lore Entertainment who also made Titan Quest along with with a few other devs including one D1/D2 designer. Currently you can't really pirate it because it it breaks NPCS and quests (custom DRM I'm guessing) but there is a DRM free version planned for launch.

If you die you will be locked out from that place for your current playthrough, so you'll lose a couple of thousand XP at most. You need a blood of Ch'thon with Corpse Dust and Ectoplasm.

It means the enemies are like 6 levels higher than you. Nothing that should be "too" hard for you. You will find a one shot chest in there, so it could be worthwhile.
