So i have a featherfin catfish, which everyone Ive talked to and everything Ive read says they're really aggressive

but mine isnt, he just sits at the bottom and the fish i have now are just attacking him all the time, he doesnt even move when I add food in

i have only a 40L tank i could move him to which is way too small, but i cant keep him where he is now and i have no room for another tank

I've had this fish for about 6 years so I wanna keep him but i dont know what to do

Synodontis usually can be rehoused without any problems, depending on your area. I'm sure you'll find someone with an african cichlid/big enough tank near you, that can take care for him, if you look online.

About the only thing that keeps me from killing them on sight is the thought of having to clean up the resulting mess.

Build a potato cannon with a very short barrel, calculate the volume of the combustion chamber and fill it with lighter gas using a syringe. This will generate an intense burst of clean flame that won't leave soot marks, it's capable of vaporising mosquitoes and killing just about any other insect instantly. The smell is pretty bad but it dissipates quickly.

38 KB,
So I was hanging out with some co-workers and they started talking about 'teacup pigs,' which are basically a made-up scam. Miniature pigs bottom out at around 75 lbs, but photos and descriptions on various websites lead people to believe that these pigs are way smaller. Here's one page as an example: http://www.teacuppigs.info/.

I'm not into pets, but I am into scams. Animals often factor into scams (see: pig in a poke scam). Do you guys have any stories about any scams involving animals?

There was a widely held myth, i think probably perpetuated by the pet industry, that reptiles would grow to the size of their tanks and then stop growing. The many keks when your baby iguana doesn't stay one foot long.

Yeah you can take the pups off and root them, but they'll obviously take a loooooong time to grow to the size of the 'parent' plant.

2 MB,
Anybody here have a pet that was rescued? I have my pupper here that was rescued from a hoarders house. Apparently he was kept in a cage for the majority of his life. He's 4-5 years old. Hes a chihuahua/beagle mix. He takes to my mother more than me but she's at home all day while I'm at work for 12 hours mon to Fri. He sleeps a lot and he was so scared from the fireworks last night. He loves to cuddle though.

Anyways, anybody have a rescue?

Both my 2 cats and 2 dogs are rescues. I only know one of their stories for certain.

Cat 1 was an owner surrender I think. She is a handful and has kitten tier energy at 7 (adopted her when she was 4). Cat 2 was abused/neglected and either sized or surrendered. He is ancient (at least 10) and currently has kidney disease, as tends to happen to old, especially boy, cats like him.

Dog 1 is the only one I know for sure his story. He escaped his old owners house once and the lady that would be the foster I got him from returned him. He escaped again and that lady found...

Found my dog and another one walking down the middle of my road one day. He was nervous but followed her anywhere, both were skinny and drinking water from the mud.
We found their owner but by then we knew he was trailer trash and had beaten him badly and very overbred her. My dog in particular was terrified of even entering our house, if he was on a leash and you pulled he'd throw himself to the ground trying to escape and one time I ran to my sister after she screamed in another room and he saw me and pissed himself right out of fear. Got a giant scar on his side...

1 MB,
Hey /an/.
My buddy of 13 years just went missing, he's been gone for the past few days, the last he's been gone for more than a day was when I first moved into the place and I don't know what to do. I live in a place with quite a few coyotes, though he wasn't known for going outside for long. We also are in monsoon season and I'm concerened. I don't know what to do

I suppose the best thing you can do for now is post flyers around the neighborhood. Put food out for him every night and watch it so you can catch him. I hope you find your kitty! I'm sure he's fine.
>>
>>2160192
Don't put food out, you will attract other animals.

Put out things that smell like you, like your sheets after you have slept in them a bunch or the shirt you were wearing that day.
>>
What area she at? If it's Cali I can send a few of my friends out there to look in your neighborhood as long as I pay them. I can cover expenses because I know how hard it is to lose a furry friend. If she/he is gone I know it might be hard, harder then most people but remember 13 years is alot, your buddy was probably getting really old and tired. Just know he/she is free now and as a Christian I personally believe she would be in Heaven, awaiting your arrival. And you'd be able to get a new baby kitty!
Try and stay positive and hope for the best, if the best doesn't...

2 MB,
Hows my bearded dragon's set up? I keep 100 or so crickets handy and feed them some gut loading shit, and then he currently has peas and blueberries in his food dish. Spot clean the tank multiple times a day, then do a full clean once a week. I take him out and let him sit on me for a few hours a day, and I give him baths (no soap) whenever i clean his tank. He seems really happy and healthy, but is there any changes i should make?

His name is Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso....
