What's /an/'s opinion on Blackfish?
A light-shedding movie? Or a bunch of bullshit?
Blackfish can potentially change or support your point of view on Seaworld or Orcas, not a bad movie at all.
>>2142084
Watched it last night with my sister, I never had any interest of going because I know a little bit about Orcas.
My sister regrets ever going.
The movie might be a crock of shit but Orcas should not be kept in captivity on principle.

I browse craigslist pet ads whenever I'm bored, and it always kills me that people give up puppies after thinking they can juggle 4 kids and jobs.
Poor pups though.
I don't know if I'll ever find the picture again, but "Cages for Fish" is probably my favorite. Guy was selling bird cages.

So..
A friend of mine has a son that works for game wardens. They have some baby deer that need "foster homes" to bottle feed them until they are old enough to go back.
Anyone have experience with this? Please share your stories.
All milk will be provided to me, and if any illness happens, they will provide medical/veterinary care.
Haven't said yes, yet. I wanted to hear opinions/personal experiences.
I would say yes in a heartbeat because deer are fucking adorable.
You know what if you don't want it i'll take it. Where you livin at I'll come pick it up.

OP here, forgot to mention:
I live in an apartment but my friend said she would come by during the day and look after it while I'm at work. Also when I get home from work I can take it outside to run and stuff
What are these plants? I found them growing in my garden
It's an acorn tree.
That's a tree? Does it grow fast? I need a nice fast growing tree.
Also here is a third plant
Is it cruel to raise a cat inside?
No. If anything it's the best thing for them. You can have a space outside for them to play around in if you have that available but if not it's fine.
>>2145503
Only ethical way to keep a cat, elsewise in becomes little more than an invasive species.
It's best raise it inside so it grows up an indoor cat.
How to make these plants better?

Thanks friend

We have a plant general, but it's dying like your flowers.
Thing flew into the house and bit me

It's cancer.
i want a dog breed that is these things:
small to medium,no grooming, playful but lazy as well, friendly to animals and humans, tolerates heat very well, also tolerates being left alone, doesn't need much exercise and isn't very loud.No quizzes had what i was looking for so i said "fuck it" and hopped on here. Also,no funny shit, thanks.
So why do you want a dog at all?
>>2145311
Cuse I just want one
I was in your situation and then I realised I am a grown-up and responsible so I dropped the whole dog idea.
Plan 3h a day dog time before you get one
Has anyone here ever had their dog certified as a therapy dog?
What was the certification process like, where have you taken them, and what has your experience been like?
I have a very sweet dog that I think would be a good candidate for being a therapy dog.
>>2145161
>Implying therapy and support animals are anything but a scam to let people claim their pet is a service animal and take it where it would otherwise be forbidden.

So?

No thanks.
Found crawling near my laundry room window. Doesn't appear to have wings. Live in MD near trees. Quarter for size reference.

Hey /an/
First time cat owner here.
For the last few months I have just been getting cheap litter (dusty, no real odor control, etc) but now I want to get something a little nicer.
Anyone have a good litter recommendation (preferably one I can get from Amazon)
Currently deciding between Yesterday's News Cat Litter and Precious Cat Ultra Premium Clumping Cat Litter. Any thoughts?
meow
I haven't tried that brand in particular, but I really like recycled paper litters. They do nothing in terms of odour control for poops, though I'm quick to scoop them out anyway. I'm not a fan of crystal/clumping etc. litters because of the dust, I don't want my cats breathing that shit.
>>2145081
I guess what she has now is dusty, crystal stuff. It still can small pretty dank. Are there any other advantages to recycled paper litter?
So what does /an/ prefer:
Frogs or toads?
And why?
>>2145035
Frogs are part of the order Anura, which includes toads
True toads have their own family (Bufonidae)
Several Anura species have been called Toads.
Plus frogs do differ since a tree frog isn't similar to a common frog.
Frogs. Poison dart frogs are one of my favorite animals. They're dangerously cute.

heeeeelp
Ive ran out of food for my whites and the shops shut, what can i supplement for him?
Hey, /an/,
I was thinking, how do the same people keep coming into possession of multiple litters of kittens? I know they're not fostering and I know they're not breeding or trapping the cats themselves. So, how do they do it?
People are stupid fucks and don't get their cats spayed for a variety of reasons. A lot of owners think they can get away with not spaying/neutering if they have exclusively indoor animals, not realizing the insane level of desperation that overtakes cats and dogs when they go into heat. Kitty slips out the door just once and boom, she's knocked up by the neighborhood tom. Lots of poorfags think they don't have the money (and are too retarded to look into low-cost spay and neuter programs that are goddamn everywhere these days) or else just don't care to...

finding feral kittens is extremely easy depending on the season and some bleeding heart retards feel like they should safe every single one of them.
>>2145039
This pretty much.
I used to have a PETAfag friend who believed it was inhumane to fix an animal because it 'takes away their nature', and it was also inhumane and unnatural to keep them indoors. She thought she would easily find homes for kittens and make some money off of it too. she was struggling to find homes after the 2nd litter and eventually just started letting kittens go.
Then I had my good old 'poorfag' friend, couldn't even spare $30 on fixing his cat, but spent over...
