I checked under his lip and his flesh is very white.

None of them. If a primate wants to rip your face off, then it's going to do it and that will be the end of it. Orangutans only seem peaceful because most of the interaction shown with them involves individuals that were raised by people, or at the very least were exposed to them long enough to become adjusted to human presence. A wild Orang would outright fuck a person up if the mood struck them. Males especially considering how they get fuckhuge and are territorial.

I think docking can be done when necessary, but not without anesthesia on a week old puppy with a pair of scissors. It should be done as an adult with anesthesia.

I'm moving out soon and my parents want my dog to stay with them. I pay for literally everything and he's registered under my name so they agree that he's mine. But they think he'll have a better life with them since someone will be home all the time. I interact with him more than they do though and they like to spoil him so I feel like he's going to end up overweight and regress on his training. Not that they're bad owners by any means, just that they don't really know how to raise a dog and they tend to anthromorphise him. I'm considering like joint custody desu
I'm moving out soon and I'm trying to decide. my parents wanted him originally as a puppy, but he slowly became mine as they didn't want to deal with a puppy. but now that he's older they'll be fine. I am really really attached to him, but they live on 6 acres of woods and I would be moving into a small apartment with roommates, and a pit/husky would undoubtably do better in the county. plus I worry I wouldn't even be able to find a place that would let me take him due to being a pit. plus one of them is almost always home

/an/, I bought a saltwater tank already set up and running with no live stock besides 2 hermit crabs. Idk how in the hell they survived the trip as I moved the tank and water when it was snowing.
Anyway, I can't seem to get the amount of water in either the sump or the main tank correct for the pump to not flip the fuck out like pic related
Pic of the sump setup, it's 3 chambers which I guess most are. First has a filter bag that needs to be changed with skimmer, second has nothing right now, and third has the return pump.
If i fill the third chamber up anywhere near the water line it'll be good for like a day or two and then spazz the fuck out and only have half the water where it should be. I added 2 gallons two days ago to the sump and it worked fine, I come home from work and it's doing this again.
The pump is only rated for 300gpm(minutes or hours idk) and the overflow tank is rated for something stupid like 800. I'm not losing water anywhere and there's no way 2 gallons evaporated in as many days
