So I just went and introduced all my new fish from Walmart and petco into my established tank. Worried about ick. Used aquarium salt and put a heater that goes to 80 degrees. Will this kill the ick or just put it into remission? Is it likely my fish will get ick

>>
Even if your aquarium has ich your fish won't contract it as long as they're healthy and well nourished.

Thanks

What I'm asking is if it's likely to eradicate all ick by raising the temperature

Thanks

What I'm asking is if it's likely to eradicate all ick by raising the temperature. So even when temp goes down again there's no infection.

I found my cat playing with this in the snow. My cat has no claws so I don't think he hurt him, but he's shivering so I took him inside.

I'm fairly certain he's not a mouse. A mole maybe?

What do shrews eat?

>>
Not a breed, some sort of mutt.
Be vague on the papers to ensure that if the real owners come forward for him, that they're the real owners. Leave room for people to describe it because people will call you and say it's their dog just so they can have it.
>>

this
also, he doesn't look very well groomed, did he have a collar when you found him?

Cats are an ecological menace. They torturously kill many animals, including many endangered species.

That being said, I like them okay anyway. Got one myself.

Hey /an/

Can you tell me if this is something to worry about? About a week ago I noticed these red patches of skin around my dogs mouth; I haven't noticed them before but im not sure if that's just the color of her skin.

She's 3, and an Australian shepherd mix. We don't know what the father was but we thing a St. Bernard, if that helps.

I'll post both sides of her mouths and a pic of her. It doesn't seem to bother her, but she also compulsively licks her paws so maybe she just has chapped lips? Idk, I just want to make sure she's okay is all. I'll take her to the vet if it gets worse, obviously.

Looks like it's trying to immitate a scorpion and scare predators away. The red coloring could be a warning as well, but I don't know exactly what kind of bug it is.

Dog park thread?

Stories? Tales?

I'll start.

The other day this really old Labrador (like. Haggard as fuck, probs 14) is chilling roaming the park like a majestic elephant. Some young kids, maybe 14, bring their friends dog down (who they don't know) to the park. It's some Bogan fucking staffy, questionably pit. It latches onto old dogs neck. The owner who is like mid 60s tries to pry the mouth off, doesn't work. Some quick thinking from a bloke at the park ends it by putting fingers up the staffys ass hole. Old guy is furious and leaves the park. Then goes and talks to. The kids outside.

Any stories?

When I take my dog to the park, she often meets and plays with her best friend. And often with her other friends aswell. Except one she's scared of for some reason, a great dane. He's sweet though. And another dog just doesn't like running much, I guess it's older or prefers toys.

tfw your dog's social life is better and socialer than yours.
>>
>The dog park in my village is under control of a gang of older women.

>They stand there for hours everyday, tell dirty jokes and throw balls for their dogs.

>The dogs don't actually play with each other, just fetch stupid balls.

>The dogs formed some kind of pack and don't tolerate other dogs.

I don't go there anymore. It's no fun and the worst.
>>
Old people starting park gangs are the worst. The usually have shitty little dogs too.

Fun fact horse doesn't lie down often, Relax yourself horse!
>>
This horse is an outside horse, when horse picture was taken it was cold for horse. Horsei has a blanket to be comfy cozy warm, stay warm horse!

He had fleas like crazy and he was really skinny. He seems to have been left there since we have a park nearby and he was sleeping in front of my house. He had a collar made from an old belt and it was caked in dirt and he hadn't seemed to have bathed in forever. If we find his owners that's great but a name would be nice. Sorry for the snap pic btw.

I myself have to go with the Permian. There is no beating a world where weird mammal/reptile synapsids fuck shit up on a desert Pangaea. Gorgonopsids were GOAT.
I can't even imagine what life would look like if the great dying didn't fuck over most synapsids.
