reddit: the cat
Can someone identify this bird?
it was rather small, like a fieldfare maybe. Looks juvenile. I saw it wading around near some reeds.
Seen in southern Sweden, I should add.

Eurasian Coot duckling. Almost positive.
Can anyone help me
They said in the shop it was a female but it looks like a male to me?
>>2153729

How intelligent are parrots?
I'm considering taking one. How long can they live on average?
>>2153669
Define parrot, there are many kinds. A cockatoo like in your pic is a very difficult pet that needs huge amounts of care and attention and can outlive you, not recommended.
>>2153669
Go for something else man, these are specialty animals and your days will suck from here on out. Sorry for being simple, my post got lost.
>>2153669
Cockatoodles live for 50-70 years so it's a Buy It For Life purchase.
Can someone identify this?
Looks like a Hickory Tussock Moth Caterpillar

Thanks
What a cutie
This was my favorite thing in the world. I know it's a calico-haired, but what breed is it? And can anyone tell me more information about it?
Definitely a shorthair cat.
If it's not from a breeder it's not a breed
Why would anyone want to know this species
Im putting together a 125gal tank and I want to put fish from the amazon in it, anyone know any good species? I want to do multiple species of varying size.
Piranha

get discus
>>2153105
Bearded Corydora
Ituglanis spp.
Splash tetras
Fog talking catfish (fav talker cat)
Cactus pleco
the best place to get fish is aquascapeonline, they can special order and ship rare fish from the amazon if you want, they're 45 mins away from me and they can special order almost anything (including plants)
So I am hoping to move to a remote area of alaska, I wanna get a horse.
What kind of horse would do good in the cold? How much care do they need?4
I don't know shit about horses, if this is just a shit idea let me know.
>Keeping a huge animal that's not particularly well suited for cold weather and needs lots of food in a remote frigid area.
Why don't you get a horse of the type used by all of the Inuit and Eskimo people?
>>2153077
Polar bear with harpoon guns strapped to back?
That's how I was always told the Canadians did it.
>>2153081
You're not funny, your thread is shit, and I'm certain that you're a child, but yeah, I'm glad you came to the answer to your dumb question all on your own.
My Goldy of 2 years died this morning.
We got him when he was little and has lived a good life as the last fish to lie from our original aquarium.
He's not fully dead yet, his gills are still breathing but his mouth has stopped working.
What's is the best way to send off my old friend to the afterlife?
>>2152929
Space program?
I'm being serious.
>>2152933
I don't have money for a space progran
>>2152935
Oh it's only $1.50 or $2.
Bury him it is. Don't flush him, you'll feel like an asshole afterwards.
Why are they so based?
They are pretty neat aren't they
>the only cute spider
hi /an/, this is Loki. i wanna know what race is his dad. his mother was a golden retriever. the mother was found in a dump, pregnant, needy. she was 8 months old, and it was her first pregnancy. she gave birth to 10. all was black as night, except Loki, he has some yellow and white fur. what could be their dad?
>>2151978
Come back in a few months. It is near impossible to tell breeds at such a young age.
There are also DNA tests you can have done as well for like 60 bucks, if you have the dosh to spare.
with his mom
>>2151982
i'll probably do that if i can't find an answer. i'm too curious
also, can post more if anyone can tell something
Is this a baby wasp? It buzzed on me and I was thinking of having him as a pet and see if I could teach him not to sting people or even better use him as a wasp guard to protect my room when my mom comes in my room when I'm not home
>>2151921
baby wasps look kinda like grubs and don't just wander around they are always in a nest or in a host. you got a blurry af pic but i think it might be a chalcid wasp.
put him in the freezer so he goes to sleep then tie a string round his neck and anchor him somewhere.

This, collect a bunch of them and tie them all together like a bunch of balloons, and attach them to the inside of your neigbors mailbox.
