Does anyone know what breed of dog this is?
fluffy doggo
probably a maltese. I had one and he had a face like that. they don't all have that smushed teddy bear face.
>>2136979
Yeah. That looks right. Thanks.
My dog got into my Kalms tablets while I was at work. He as eaten about 30 or so. What should I do?
Find him a nice place to sleep.
>>2136964
They don't seem to have affected his behaviour, he is possibly more active than usual.
>>2136968
are those pills candy flavored? why did he eat 30?
Succulent question: I have a bunch of succulents(pic related is a few) in 1" pots. Now I usually have them shipped so they were in a box for a while and lose some color. But they've been in the sun for a while now and the color hasn't really returned that much. A couple have lost a little color too. Anyone know what's the deal? Also since they're in such small pots how often should they be getting water? It's hard for me to tell when they dry out because they're so small
indirect sunlight don't over water, i would give them bigger pots
>>2136758
Moved them to indirect, they're 2" pots btw I dont know why I always think they're 1" for some reason. Not sure if that size difference matters but
>>2136797
i prefer larger pots for my succulents personally, they can get much bigger and spread

Anyone know what kind of bird this is?
Little faggot starts up at 4am every fucking morning in the tree outside my window...
How do I convince him to kindly fuck off?
>>2136623
Holy shit, that's annoying. My condolences.
Where do you live
>>2136688
Southern Oregon.
I haven't found any bird calls online that match this area...
I found some maggots and they are pretty neat. However, since I found them in the garbage, they smell like shit.
How do I give them a bath without killing them?
Might be fun to put them on my nipples or something for /b/.
Currently they are enjoying a fresh orance wedge. Maybe the citrusy goodness will burn off their sludge smell.
I put them into a sieve and rinsed them with warm salted water. I then rinsed them again with fresh water.
Now im looking at photos of maggots under magnification.
Maggot spiracle
Go back to /b/ maggot faggot
why the dogs start barking in the dawn?
>>2136543
Because Muslims hate dogs and its when they begin morning prayers. The dogs are trying to disrupt the fadr
>>2136543
Mine do not...
>>2136556
Everyday at dawn the neighborhood dogs are synchronized to start barking
Dubs name the little trooper...

/an/ is too slow of a board for it to be necessary to make another thread.
Slow board OP, try and stick to one thread, it won't 404 for a couple days.
Also, I would leave it in a dark room because noise and holding it could stress it out, which will lower it's immune system and make it harder to fight off infection.
Okay so I time stamped it cause I didnt know there was an animal board, but ill post it in b too. What the fuck do i do. my fucking roommate keeps the damn screen door open. now we have a bunny, Our cat teared it and now its bleeding.. What do?

Why are people who rescue animals the most self-righteous cunts ever?
Why are people who buy animals the most self-important cunts ever?
>>2136308
I bought both our dogs.
I dont care how other people get dogs just dont turn it into living as a victim vicariously through your dogs.
>>2136302
Only an idiot would spend thousands of dollars on a puppy that isn't housebroken, has hip problems and eats furniture.
And no: just because I rescued my dog that doesn't mean it's for everyone. I don't yell at people in the street but I'm comfortable with saying I rescued.
When will the contrarian shitposting on /an/ stop?
Hey /an/, I found this bird soaking wet in a puddle in the middle of the road. He seems to have an injured foot as well. He won't grasp with it and it is bloody. What can I do to help him at home?
>>2136137
Depends, do you have a hammer?
take it to a wildlife rescue
100% worth it for shrikes
>>2136143
This is a shrike? Poor thing won't leave my hand. There is a bad storm out tonight so I will see if there any close by.
Found a Robin fledgling on my back lawn. Can't find its nest to put it back in. What should I do?
>>2136002
Thought I should give some more info. It keeps opening its mouth as if it's wanting something to eat. What should I give it?
Give it the d
leave it the piss alone you dumb motherfucker
Everybody says that silverback gorillas have the strength of 10 people, but where did that figure come from? Is there any evidence to back that claim?
One day ten guys decided they were gonna' fight a Gorilla.
>>2135416
And lost.
Dindunuffin.....

These numbers are drastic changes from even 100 years ago.
These animals are dying, fast. And we shoot them in zoos to protect 1 of 7 billion.
We are the greatest ape, dude.
>>2135376
Do we count captive apes as part of the endangered population? Unless they're going to sire offspring that will be put in the wild, their existence/propagation only bolsters the captive population.
I'm so sick of hearing about this meme ape in a zoo. The real issue is habitat conservation
This little guy hatched from a cocoon and is inside my house but hasn't flew since he hatched about 4pm. It's currently 9pm almost. Is he just waiting to dry? Or maybe doing something else? He's now at the window panel near my front door. Should I take him outside so he can be free. I have no idea on whether to disturb him or not
that looks similar to a cabbage moth
if it is, you could do the world a favor and keep it indoors in a cage until it dies
I guessed it was a cabbage moth. Don't they only live a few days anyways?
My home is slowly becoming a bird sanctuary. First I buy one budgie and its not long before my brother becomes jealous and gets one too (which he almost immediately forgets about). Another bird (peachface) flies into the house to talk to our birds, we let it out and it comes back, "I guess we have another bird now".
stupid younger cousin now wants birds and buys to budgies, loses interest in them immediately and leaves my aunt to take care of them both. My aunt is a sweet woman but has no idea how to care for birds so they both remain in a tiny cage they cannot...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
before anyone says anything I just realized how many spelling and grammar mistakes I've made. whoops
I want to take care of homeless dogs but that would be never ending work and emotionally draining.
Update just brought the little nerd home.
