I keep seeing shows about dogs on TV so I'm trying to persuade my parents to get me one of those bought and abandoned Christmas puppers. It's not working.
Are there any entry level vet tech jobs? I was under the impression that the job I'm about to put in for was for a vet assistant job, but I was told last night it was for vet tech. My boyfriends uncle is putting in a word for me, and I've got a resume/cover letter put together, but is there any chance? The uncle said it was entry level, but I don't know, I assume all vet tech job require degrees.I took a veterinary assistant class in 2011 and got a cert for it, but otherwise I'm a customer service loser.

LVT and CVT are very different from vet assistance. YOu would need some form of education for the former, the latter is pretty much glorified kennel bitch.
You may be able to find some cheap CVT classes though

You should know by now how much competition there is for pretty much any job involving animals. Everything has to be neatly perfect. No 5 year old training courses, with gaps of inactivity in the middle. If you had taken that course and worked in the field for the last 5 years, your prospects would have been much better. Hey..
My cat has these little pimples or whatever thingies all over her body and they just keep increasing in numbers.
What are these and are they dangerous to the cat?
About a year and half back she was at the vet and got some of these and other lumps removed. And the doctor didn't know either what they were.. which was curious desu.
The cat is 14 years old, if that's any relevant.
The vet did terrible job removing those lumps and pimples last time if you ask me.
You should see another vet and get a second opinion IMO.

Don't know a lot about them but what I do know is I have a cop friend that trains police dogs and I help him by wearing the suit playing the bad guy.
German shepherds and Dobermans run at you and slow down staying on the ground before grabbing you the weimaraners fly in the air hitting you knocking you down to the ground before trying to tear your arm off.
The are quicker to learn and have more stamina.

You have to remember that these dogs are being trained for this if not then the would be tender and loving.
So I'm poor as fuck and my cats been having allergy problems since summer. I live in the middle of nowhere and the vet here costs a fortune just to visit. I have some stuff for my other cat that had the same problem and it's like some cream shit you rub on its eye and the stuff isn't expired. I'm afraid of using it though because I don't want to hurt my cat but I don't know when I could go to the vet or get the money together. He sneezes a lot and has mucus around his eyes and nose and it's scaring me a lot. I think I have an antibiotic too.
This sounds more like feline herpes than "allergy problems", especially since both cats have it. What is the cream?

I would say to use one of these humane raccoon traps to catch her if she won't let you approach her. And then keep her inside until she returns to normal.

more info: i have this 3-4 year old female budgie. never socialized. never taught to leave the cage. never interacted with other budgies. she's been passed around from family to family, and she finally ended up with me.
