Is it normal for a very young male cat (3-4 months) to disappear? My cat has been gone since yesterday and he seems too young and small to just be hanging around. He was friendly and cuddly as fuck so anybody could have just taken him. I don't think he was killed by any of the dogs on the surrounding houses because I did not hear any kind of struggle, he just fucking vanished.
I adore this cat /an/ and perhaps I'm in denial but I still hope he will come back somehow.
Pic related, he looked exactly like this one
yeah males wander often.
they also die often, so good job on your road kill.
try to keep your next pest inside.
>>2034375
He had a lot of energy, also shat in the kitchen, there was no way I could keep him inside.
I know males wander often but isn't he kind of young for that? The other male I have is way older (he's about a year) and has only wandered once or twice and he was already a big boy when he did
>>2034390
> there was no way I could keep him inside.
yeah there was, you just failed as a owner and didn't.
>The other male I have is way older (he's about a year) and has only wandered once or twice
so you didn't learn your lesson the first time.
great, everything that happens now is your fault.
if your cat gets hit by a car and dies now, it's not the fault of the driver, it's you for letting it out.
My dog (who looks like pic related), was brutally attacked by three rottweiler, they broke five of his ribs and damaged his right lung. This happened about three hours ago. The veterinarian says that there's a chance he might not make it (I like to think that it wont happen) and that if he lives there might be sequels that will affect him. I'd like to know what do you guys think? will he be alright? will there be any sequels in the future? Even if you don't know anything of veterinary, some kind words would be very appreciated (I know i'm in 4chan but even...

I'm possible to know. I assume by sequels you mean like symptoms that don't go away such as a shortness of breath or something. Or even seizures. Really at this point anything can happen and it could be really bad but at the same time there is every reason to hope that it might turn out just okay. Tons of issues he may be left with can be dealt with with anti seizure meds, just watching that he doesn't over exert himself and that sort of thing.
At this moment I think the best thing you should...

Whelp, considering my aunt's dog (who looks like the OP's) got literally eviscerated by a chocolate lab and somehow managed to survive means there is hope. Granted, he was put back together at one of the best vet schools in the country and to the tune of $8k, but anything is possible. This was five years ago and he's still doing well sans kidney and several inches of intestine.
Stay positive OP
hey everyone my cat has been complaining of a poorly stomach as of recent. she says it's not so bad to go to the vet for, but I'm still a bit worried. any help would be appreciated, I think it might be all the energy drinks, but she's always drank them and hasn't ever complained until now, so I'm not sure.
there've been no recent changes in her diet as far as i'm aware of so i'm a bit stuck as for what it could be. pic related, her name is Gemma. any advice would be appreciated.

He is so cute like a ball of fur
Niiice :)
Take it to a vet. They will solve pretty much all those problems. Since it's a puppy and already has parasites, this is very important because parvo is a serious, very lethal and common condition with a low survival rate. Bite that in the ass immediately to prevent it, or if it does have it - the sooner it is treated then the more likely it will survive.
In the meantime, I suggest you buy puppy formula or goat milk if you can't find puppy formula(not sure where you are located so goat milk also might be hard to find). Do not feed it cow milk. I can't pinpoint...

Hey /an/, I need advice on nutrition for a puppy to adulthood. I've lived with dogs my whole life and recently have decided to become a dog owner. I'm getting a German Shepherd puppy in the coming weeks and was worried about the long term. I want my dog to get the most out of it's nutrition for maximum health, healthy coat, and fitness growth. I don't know if I should feed it meat or kibble or even a combination of the two, heck there's probably another method I'm unaware of. If some anons on /an/ could give me some advice or opinions it'd...

I feed my dog a high quality brand of kibble (Acana) and if I'm having meat or eggs I mix that in for him as well. We often buy him salmon as well and he loves it. I'm nervous to go fully raw just because I don't want to fuck up the ratios and make him super sick. The realm of dog nutrition is massive and every owner will have different opinions based on what they and their dogs have experienced. A lot of is trial and error, too
Okay, so it sounds like I'll have to experiment a little bit to find out what my dogs preferences are while keeping her nutrition in mind.

Exactly. You would probably do best asking a couple vets and your breeder for advice.
Females have evolved to have a maze shaped vagina. The reason of this being: the males, well... fuck. A lot. Like a lot, a lot. To make it actually possible for them to mate, the males evolved corkscrew shaped penises. And after they mate, the male's penis falls off- let me repeat that, their penis falls off. Ducks also rape corpses. They are necrophiles, I think I have said enough.
i was saw couple duck mating once
now i know what happen inside

My ball python had been digging her head into the corner of my bedroom for the past 30 minutes. I've had her for about 6 months now and she's let out pretty much anytime she wants but today is the first time I've seen her do this. Her nose looks red and i'm unsure if it's because of her smashing it against the wall or she's smashing it because something is wrong with her. Advice?

I would love to adopt a pitbull, but its impossible to find a place to rent that allows one. Fuck.
>>2034125
oh, yeah.
I'm glad about that.
Plenty of places for rent around pitbull rescues where I live.
I see them all the time.
They are surprisingly usually the most well behaved dogs.

You might be confusing "domesticated" with "tamed" on the dog issue. Isn't it believed that dogs were domesticated from the gray wolf?
>>2023960
They were, but i'm talking about people who think they're literally the same species or almost the same thing, but with one being ferocious and the other being cute and friendly, kind of like the red junglefowl and the domestic chicken.
My area has a lot of vultures during the spring and summer. All of my friends think they're hawks or eagles.
>i cri evrytiem
Usually there's a sticky for this sort of thing but I'm at a loss here. Any /an/ recommended beginners guides to dog training? I'm adopting this qt terrier Sheltie mix and I want to do the best job I can.

I doubt they all died, OP. You could just email them and ask if they all already found homes(the ones that made it, if any actually died or had to be euthanized).
I'm from around that area and this was posted to all the NH bird related groups and aviaries I follow. Plenty of them immediately offered help.

Have you ever had a dog before?
>Yes - Husky
>No - Labrador Retriever
Do you work long hours?
>Consider a greyhound. I'm normally against shelter dogs due to wild behavior & aggression, but greyhounds are docile as fuck. I'd sugggest one of these if you're out often as Huskies/Labs shouldn't be left alone for long periods of time

>Have you ever had a dog before?
had dog before but had absolutely no clue since i was 7
>Do you work long hours?
reserves in the army weekly training and roughly a fortnight to do anything like..actual
so if i was to go with a labrador retriever, would he be fine with these conditions?
Greyhounds aren't for jogging. Look into dalmatians
