Please help /an/. Theres a stray kitten thats been wandering around the neighbor hood the past few days. Its really cold and hes really tiny and I want to bring him inside but he won't let me approach him. I've been leaving food out for him and hes been consistently coming back to eat it but I've only ever caught him eating it once and he ran as soon as I opened the door.
I've left an old cat house thing outside with a towel covering one of the entrances since theres a blizzard right now so I put some food in the house to lure him. I tried just leaving...

Stray cat?
Inform animal control immediately.
If you're lucky, a local shelter will help. Contact them first.
If you're not so lucky you can catch him yourself with a "live/humane trap", the kinds used for raccoons and stuff. Try asking around for someone you can borrow from and put some canned food in there and wait until he wanders in on his own. Put the trap under something, like a bush, so it's not scary to enter. Hopefully he's just skittish and not too feral so you can let him be warm and happy indoors with a little coaxing.
Yo /an/, I dont usually browse here, but i come to you because I have a question. I want to get into raising stag beetles and other beetles of that kind. My cousin raises them, and last time skyped him I was able to look at his set up(he lives in jap land). I got very interested and wanted to get into raising them. were is the best place to get live insects and find some care sheets and containers. Im going to do more research of course. but i feel this is a good place to start.
Cant believe I forgot. I live in the USA

Can dogs be autistic?
>>2078595
Lots of people would say yes, but it's impossible to know for sure. Google canine autism.
>>2078595
Play a minecraft video on Youtube. If the dog watches with interest, it has the tism and needs to be put down.

I need your help /an/, I've found a cat about 5 months ago, old and broken, almos no teeth only the big 4 frontal ones, he was drooling, so I took it to the vet and got it clean and normal, vet said it's as normal as it can be and it's at least 10 years old , problem is we already had 2 cats our home (both 6 year old), the other 2 are completely ok with him, but the old one attacks them both at night every now and then (around 5 week spam between the attacks but they're getting less frequent now). How do I stop this?

Put him in a large cage at night until he stops being a cunt.
if they're getting less frequent, then don't worry about it. they should stop in time.
often it can be better to let cats do their own thing, and just keep an eye on the situation.
My cat has this under its chin and he has fleas, Just wondering if the fleas did this
It's feline acne. Very common. If you use a plastic water or food bowl change it to stainless steel or ceramic. The cat bumping it's chin against a bowl can also cause irritation leading to acne. For that you can use a shallow bowl. You can also treat it with ointment, but it typically goes away once you identify what is causing the irritation.

In the market for some.
Are claw caps a good option? I'm thinking of getting them and I know my local vet does it.
>>2078432
They are an infinitely better option than declawing. Some cats can get them off really easily though, and you'll generally need new ones every couple of months.
As per the OP, just go with the brand your vet or groomer offers. I would NOT recommend applying them yourself. They are sort of fiddly to apply, so if you let a professional do it, you'll get more mileage out of them.

Aquariums also welcome.
Hey guys, so I recently got some baby kois and I'm keeping them in a 400 gallon plastic container; planning to build a pond soon. Any advice on koi keeping would be appreciated. I also got a silver arowana; anyone has experience handling these guys?
There's a fucking aquarium general already. You don't need to make a thread specifically for ponds. That's pointless, and asinine. Just go to the aquarium general
>>2078277
Arowanas can't live happy with koi. You need two ponds. One well over 1000 gallons with a decent heater that can keep water at 75 year round, and the 400 gallon just needs a filter that will move the water enough to keep it liquid in the center.
You fucked up.
Ask someone who just made homemade napalm for the express purpose of murdering spiders anything
These long legged fuckers are going to suffer for squatting in my yard

Post a webm OP
>>2078233
I hope you have a lot of napalm to deal with all the bugs that take over once the spiders (bug control) are gone.

That's pretty unusual for it to be twin boys. Usually it's a male and a female. Either way it's more platyuses and that's awesome.
What breed is this?

Hey /an/, is anyone able to tell me what kind of plant this is?
Got given it today by someone who got given it; didn't receive any other info.
Leaves are about 20cm long. Stems + underside of leaf is a reddish-purple colour and hairy/fuzzy.
Cheers.
Calathea.
