Action-Masters are Hasbro's answer to kids who didn't care to turn a robot into a vehicle. (As if that's even possible.)
They is my favorite of the repaint.
Post your customs, be they figures, dioramas, plushies, mini figures or simple touch ups. Works in progress and simple fixes also welcome.
To start off, I weathered the helmet of my soldier. It was originally painted with lacquer metalizers and then coated with a black acrylic coat which I sanded off with fine grit sandpaper to achieve the chipped paint effect.
I made this a few years back but only recently go around to taking a decent picture of it.

Neat. Paint looks well applied with some subtle gradients of colour transition. I'm unfamiliar with the source material however.

So I picked up Metalbeard's Duel today, it's pretty neat. The Micro-manager is really cool, and reminds me of ED from Robocop. I wish Metalbeard had a bit more articulation, though.

I'm getting ready to buy a few Detolf displays so I can move things off of bookshelves into more orderly set ups, but I have no idea how to light the damned things.
The LED strips that people use leave cables all over the place, and that ends up making an otherwise nice display look sloppy. The only other alternative I've found are rope lights or those bulky tap lights that you can adhere to a surface, and neither is ideal.
I'm so sick of detolfs and I want to get rid of the 3 I have, but I just shoved them in the odds and ends of my house because they're so small. Is there any way to raise an individual detolf? I've seen some people put those boxes underneath but I'm pretty sure they got rid of those.
Why anyone thinks it's acceptable to display anything <2.5ft above ground is beyond me. Then again, people think shit like >>4735823

One of these will hold two detolfs side by side. It is will within the weight restrictions, but I reinforced mine just in case.

Opened my Atlas last week, the thing is by far the best purchase I've ever made. I can't fucking wait until Stryder, but who the fuck knows when he'll be up for preorder. It's been 8 goddamn months since Atlas went up, so what the hell?
Are we going to have to wait ANOTHER 8+ months for Ogre after Stryder? They keep showing off Stryder at every event they go to so he has to be up soon. And are they doing the other faction colors of these guys after the first 3? I'd be up for buying those.
As for 3A, they're killing me with a new TF...
