Kenner's animal inspired Alien figures have always been ridiculously cool to me, especially the gorilla & mantis variations.
My younger brother's birthday is coming up and I want to get him a toy lightsaber, specifically Luke's from ROTJ. I was at the store looking at the new Bladebuilder saber and it looked tiny and even cheaper than the ones I used to have. What's the best toy saber line? I want to get him one he can still play saber fight with.

Disney store has some that are cheaper versions of the force fx sabers. They have this neat feature where when you apply constant pressure to the blade it does a vibration and sound effect for when sabers are locked together in addition to the usual clashing and swinging sound effects.

So I've been buying lots of masterpiece transformers and I've got just about all my fav characters except for hot rod. I know Takara is making a new one cause the original had so many issues but I see DX9 has this awesome looking Rodimus being released soon, I never bought a third party figure so I'm curious if they are worth the price .

So damn tiny and yet can do so much. Only thing he's missing is a deeper elbow joint and maybe a toe joint, but damn. Hopefully Universe Cyclonus won't jump in price because of him. Never got one myself because of the old somewhat doofy facesculpt but definitely need him now as a companion piece. Can't wait for my board to come in. Trying to figure out if it's possible to magnetize his feet to it or something.
Anyone got recommendations for dust free display cases for figures? I got a number of them various places on display (bookshelves, stereo, etc) and like to finally get them dust free. No room for one those big display showcases. Got marvel legends and DC, transformers, some gi-joes, star wars and marvel universe (3 3/4" - 4 in)

Rob is the best figure in wave 2 followed by Jamie and the Danny. only thing is, as nice as they look; they have a tendency to break right out of the box. I mean it's like they're built out of glass.

I dunno. I feel like Wave 2 gets a lot of flak that it doesn't deserve, but wave 1 sure does. Maybe it is luck of the draw but both waves are ok for me, no breakage just the Hound sorta shitty.
I even liked Arya too because she indeed has that little slit on her for Needle and I find it kinda neat.
The other dumb thing is that some of them, the hands are closed between the thumb and index finger so you need to x-acto knife the hand in order for them to hold their weapons.
